Obama vs. McCain in Halo 3 Screenshots
November 4, 2008 81 Comments
*Disclaimer: This article is intended for entertainment purposes only. It is not meant to be informative and you won’t learn a damn thing from it. So untwist your panties, enjoy some screenshots, and then go vote. Seriously, go vote.
If you live in the United States, today is election day. That means you need to put down your video game controller and head to the voting booth so you can cast a ballot for your presidential candidate of choice. If you still find yourself undecided at this late hour, I have compiled some Obama vs. McCain comparisons on select issues in the easy to understand form of Halo 3 screenshots. Get educated. Then vote. You can play Halo when you’re done.
Iraq
McCain – Fuck peace, war is where it’s at. Bring on the bombs!

Obama – War is not the answer, because only love can conquer hate.
Sweet, sweet love.

Same Sex Issues
McCain – No same sex marriage for you! Women also belong in the kitchen.
Now go make me something to eat.

Obama – Believes in man love, woman love,
absolutely anything as long as there’s sweet, sweet love.

Military Experience
McCain – 22 year military career

Obama – Remember the focus on love?
The guns are too freakin’ heavy anyways.

Gun Control
McCain – Supports assault weapons, concealed weapons,
and anything that fires bullets

Obama – Supports a ban on assault weapons, concealed weapons,
and also extremely heavy weapons

Age
Marijuana
McCain – Opposes the legalization of marijuana

Obama – Is open to the idea of medicinal marijuana,
assuming he has snacks readily available

*Despite how lighthearted the article is, political discussion is welcome today. Stupid comments work just fine too.

I will be voting for McCain…
NObama! lol…
BS, you seem a little biased in this post, lmao.
Great pics though! =D
EVERYONE GO VOTE! (Assuming you are old enough)
LOL Awesome! A little humor goes a long way!
I’m not even American, but I enjoyed it :)
*sigh* Indecision ’08. The election everyone in the world wants a vote in.
If McCain wins it’ll have been two years wasted. I’m Canadian, and it’s blatantly clear to me that by putting Sarah Palin as his running mate he has not put your country first. I still think it was all Cindy McCain pulling the strings.
Come on, America. The rest of us want change. Look past yourselves.
bs angel!!! I root for Obama!!!! Stop teh warz!!!! Peace Hommiez…
“Hey John! If you care about my family so much why don’t you give me one of your houses?”
lol, you made obama sound like a hippy
the funniest post ever! thanks angel!
I can’t vote, but if I could, I wouldn’t support a VP who wants to shoot down wolves from helicopters
If I could vote, I’d vote Obama.
I skipped class so I could place my vote :P
I found this to be a very helpful video when I was undecided. your welcome.
i like the gun control one the best.
i voted early, so today i get to relax. who else is watching the jon stewart and steven colbert 1 hour special coverage tonight?
Anyone else feel that Sarah Palin is clinically mentally retarded? No, seariously, I could throw up some links to ANY video of her talking. She’s inexperienced for one, but she’s also as dumb as dirt… that being said, McCain is old… he may die… meaning the mentally handicapped Palin… would… be….. president…
Could you immagine the armeggedon? I mean, the whole world would go down in a ball of fire and agony. Sarah Palin is the scariest shit on earth. Forget George Bush, this bitch is far scarier than him or the terrorists he “trying” to fight, and the countries he’s trying to “reprogram.”
Anyway, yeah, Sarah Palin can burn in any form of flame producing thing whatsoever before I ever even think of voting anywhere near her direction. McCain, you’re a fucking moron for picking her… unless you realised that all of America doesn’t care and will only see a young woman and go, “Oh, YAYz, a young womanz who’ll be in teh officez!”… then your a fucking geneous… but I still won’t vote for you. GObama… or whatever…. I’m just brutally anti-Palin, I don’t really care what McCain thinks, that all got voided when I first saw Palin. If Obama had picked Palin, it wouldn’t matter how much change he wanted, she is NOT going anywhere near an American office in DC… we already fucked up and put her in office, but we did throw her into the middle of Alaska where she could have her imaginary wars with Russia… “Keeping Putin at bay,”…. wow, you go Retard Palin.
An “Obama win” will be a win for terrorism….and Osama will be laughing. ‘Nuff said.
BS Angel… you’ve hurt me… I want to have an internet fight because of this… but I don’t want to because I want to respect your weblog… dammit! (jk)
And I still don’t get th… I said I wouldn’t internet fight, so I won’t… wow that’s hard.
I don’t have a problem with John Mccain as much as I do with Sarah Palin. He isn’t bad, but Obama is better. Sadly, I am not a resident of the US, and cannot vote. This is frustrating but AH who cares…
Mccain supports a system that causes the deaths of Hundreds of thousands of americans a year, he supports the continuation of a war that has driven the United states in to a black pit of financial despair, and his solution to excessive spending is more spending. He supports assault weapons for no apparent reason other than the “right” to own them. May I point out that the exercising of any right is allowed AS LONG AS it does not infringe upon the rights of others, and as far as I am concerned, owning assault weapons is unneccesarily dangerous to others lives.
@ Trixie, I am appalled that you would even suggest that Obama has ties to terrorism. statements like that are the reason muslims are feared throughout the world for absolutely no reason. That statement is racist and intolerant and I hope that someone else feels the same.
Obama is as american as anyone, and the fact that people are accusing him of being a terrorist simply from his name is shocking. If you are suggesting that his Iraq policy is the reason he is a “terrorist” then you are also wrong. Obama supports a safe exit strategy from a country that you had no business invading in the first place. The republican party and george bush (along with people such as John Mccain) have driven the US in to a ditch, and a black man with a muslim name is the only person who can effectively get you out.
Obama > McCain.
McCain is old, out of touch, and voted on par numerous times with the president who helped put our country where it is today (aka not a good place).
Obama is a brilliant and charismatic speaker, and I greatly approve of his tax plans/economy plans.
Anyone who thinks that Obama has terrorist ties is an idiot. He is friends with someone who was engaged in harmful planning when Obama was 8 years old.
“Whatever his past, Ayers is now a respected member of the Chicago intelligentsia, and still a member of the Woods Fund Board”
“Senator Obama strongly condemns the violent actions of the Weathermen group, as he does all acts of violence. But he was an eight-year-old child when Ayers and the Weathermen were active, and any attempt to connect Obama … Read Morewith events of almost forty years ago is ridiculous.”
Again…if you think he is a “terrorist tied muslim, you are an idiot.
Bringing up that argument is the same as asking Republicans “How do you feel about the fact that McCain is friends with Scooter Libby?” It’s a moot point.
Read between the lines people
Ew. Political Blog Debate.
Ew.
Awesome post. I for one will be leaving work early to go vote….and then to go play Halo. Sometimes I wonder why election day isn’t a national holiday.
TOO FUNNY!
Normally I’m against mixing politics and gaming but since today is election day, I am granting a temporary reprieve on that. :)
Normally I’m against mixing politics and gaming but since today is election day, I am granting a temporary reprieve on that. :)
Fixed!
LOL, … oops. Good catch! But don’t you have an entire bottle of wine to drink or something Mendi? ;)
it looks like aol news in here lol. I’m voting for caboose. Bleep bloop!
Heh, woke up at 5:30 AM Chicago(hehe) Standard Time to get to the polls by 6 AM. There was already a long line when I arrived, there were some minor problems(people going into the wrong line, etc), but otherwise went alright. Voted Obama, and when I left, I noticed the line was even longer. I live in a heavily Republican neighborhood(if you look at election maps, its that red square next to Chicago), but a lot of us here support Senator Obama. Hopefully he gets this.
But don’t you have an entire bottle of wine to drink or something Mendi?
No, no, no… kthxbai :D
re NID:
“Hey Obama, if you care about family so much, why is your brother living on a dollar a month in Kenya, and your aunt living in a slum in Boston?”
re -S-:
William Ayers, as quoted in the New York Times, September 11, 2001 ”I don’t regret setting bombs,” Bill Ayers said. ”I feel we didn’t do enough.” Mr. Ayers, who spent the 1970′s as a fugitive in the Weather Underground, was sitting in the kitchen of his big turn-of-the-19th-century stone house in the Hyde Park district of Chicago. Sounds pretty repentant and reformed. Obama’s age at the time? 40.
Thanks for the injection of sanity, -S-.
Remember kids, political advertisements are still advertisements. That means that while there might be some truth in them, they’re also packed with half-truths, misdirection, exaggerations, and in many cases bold-faced lies. Don’t believe everything you read/see/hear. Think for yourself, and think critically.
View the political discourse with the kind of skepticism you use when dealing with the SPAM choking your inbox. John McCain isn’t going to help you get rich quick working from home. Barack Obama isn’t going to eliminate your debt overnight. Sarah Palin is not a nice girl who wants to chat with you and send you hawt pictures if you just e-mail her.
Really, this is all in good fun and there are pictures in the post poking fun at both sides. So stop taking it so seriously and have a laugh. It’s good for you.
(And no, I’m not taking sides or telling you who I voted for.)
Re: Das Kalk (from school)
This is the most contraversial thing I have seen on this site since pron.
@ MacGyver10
true enough, however most people, sadly, think of a Muslim person when given the word “terrorist” simply due to fear mongering and racial stereotyping. I do think the statement is racist and/or intolerant depending on the basis of the statement. If it was based on Obama’s childhood acquaintance, then it is intolerant due to the fact that at 8 years old, people are still growing in to who they will eventually become. It is racist if the statement was derived from his name due to the fact that a generalization was assumed about Obama due to the connotation of his name.
In no way am I suggesting that most Muslims are terrorists, in fact most of my town is composed of middle-eastern families, however the times we live in are so flawed that many people think “terrorist” when they see a Muslim person in traditional garb or upkeep (i.e. beard).
The fact of the matter is that the subject of Barack Obama being a terrorist is completely ridiculous and founded on scare tactics from racists who are afraid that a black man cannot represent the interests of a nation that once enslaved black men. People can be very ignorant, and those two morons from Arkansas proved it.
For -S-
1) What exactly did Bush do to cause this economic crisis we have now?? Nothing, that’s what. You cannot name one thing, and so it really is time to abandon that argument.
2) Obama’s economic plan is based on taking wealth from the rich – the ones who supply so many of our jobs, and who got to where they are by busting their asses hours on end for years, and not at all by a matter of luck, as Obama states – and giving it to the poor, the ones who voted it for him. This not only makes it a vote buying, but also in essence, Socialism. Something that does not belong in the US, the last real bastion of freedom.
About Ayers: regardless of how well Obama is connected to him, Obama did know him after he had perpetrated his acts of treason. Not before he did them, (which would have been excusable, since Ayers went bad after Obama knew him), but after, when he had not necessarily changed his attitudes. So it does not matter how old Obama was when Ayers did his thing, because Obama did not know him then. Thus that fact is irrelevent. What does matter is that Obama knew him when Ayers had already bombed one of our buildings.
if i could vote my vote would be for mccain. i dont believe in gun control. 2nd amendment-right to bare arms.
and quite frankly obama scares the piss out of me.
@ das kalk
obama is anit-jewish.
he wants to destroy isreal.he thinks that is the only way to bring peace to the middle east.
if u r a Christian (as i am) you know what isreal is and what it means if its destroyed.
but on the other hand this was very funny and entertaining.best post ever.
Bleh, I’m short a year to vote. I woulda been going Obama anyway.
Nice post, by the way. XD
@ Das Kalk
Sarah Palin is all right. She’ll be a pretty good VP should McCain croak. She’s a little too conservative, but definately better than the commie Obama and the bumbling idiot Biden.
And as I’ve always said, stereotypes aren’t necessarily true, but they’re pretty helpful when determining character and the fact of the matter is that a lot of muslims do silently support the cause of the terrorists.
But the connection between Obama and the terrorist threat is not that Obama is a terrorist, it’s that he’s weak against our enemies. In order to not offend anyone, and to please his hippie peace-loving friends as well as our socialist “allies”, he’ll probably not take a hard line against our real enemies. Our enemies love this, and so we as a country will be weak and susceptible to attack again. Believe we, when he gets elected, he’ll be tested by the world, and he’ll probably fail.
Oh, and just to be a smart-ass…
Did anybody bring a fire extinguisher for this? I’m feeling a flame war.
I tried to write a response to this three times, but deleted it.
I am looking forward to the end of this political season. It is a lot easier to respect one’s fellow man when their ignorance is not so vividly on display.
@ phoenix
I’m sure everyone has the right to naked arms.
2nd Amendment applies to militias necessary to secure a State. Well-regulated at that. It’s been known for years that regulating guns hasn’t been doing very well.
@ bs22343
The majority of the rich today get it through heritage from their parents and barely do a lick of work to maintain their high-living standard.
As for socialism being a bastion of freedom, it seems to be working in Norway and Finland where health care and schooling are, well, free. Sure taxes would be higher, but if properly regulated (and people stopped being greedy) it would be used to provide the right services to those who need it.
People always confuse socialism with communism, which aren’t the same thing.
I’m definitely not into talking to people on the internet about politics.. but some of these comments do bother me.
Age should never restrict anyone, young or old
Skin is not a decision factor, whatever party you’re in
Terrorism isn’t just for Muslim Jihadists
Taking away tax cuts is STILL RAISING TAXES
…
Sidenote:
The young black guy who is told he doesn’t have enough experience and is running on the theme of “Change” goes out and gets the oldest white guy he can find for his running mate = LOL
The old white man who is told he is too old and is running on the theme of being “proven” goes out and gest the most attractive female he can find to be his running mate = LOL
Nothing but love everybody!!
and PS:
We don’t care about your Canadian opinions :-P
Hypothetical votes don’t count!
i hate political arguments so much because nobody can win and half the crap that comes out of peoples mouths is so exagerated and untrue it’s unbeleivable.

GObama
Obama is where it’s at!
Tort, that was an excellent re-tort. :D
I voted McCain/Palin. I have my reasons, which I’ll not go into.
However, I will say this one thing. If Obama wins… and he passes gun bans… he can personally come down here to Texas and pry it from my cold, dead hands.
No one takes my fucking guns.
No one.
kthxbai.
Mizzy-
Regardless of where they got their wealth, the rich still supply a lot of jobs to people who need it.
A Democrat? Well-regulated taxes? Really? Meanwhile, taxes in Norway and Finland are incredibly high. There’s a reason they don’t have many successful businesses.
And people will never EVER stop being greedy. Period. It’s human nature.
Ron Paul: Two First Names; Twice the Man
Thanks Angel, I needed this.
Although I still won’t be voting: I think voting for our boss compromises the neutrality of the Officer Corps.
Respectfully,
Cadet Jonathan Curran
@ Yellow Six
Not necessarily. The jobs that are provided to people are very specialized jobs where they’re still not paid a lot and are required to work extensive hours. Those rich private business owners don’t provide as many jobs as those needed in the public sectors like education.
And yes, they’re high IN ORDER to provide for free health care. That’s how it works. You can’t expect to get something for free without sacrificing. And I would prefer having a failed business than having to go through the rigmaroll of trying to get healthcare here in the U.S.
Screw healthcare.
I personally think a higher emphasis should be placed on wellness programs to get people living HEALTHY instead of treating the symptoms. Prevention of health problems is ALWAYS less costly than dealing with health problems.
Of course most Americans never want to exercise and want to continue eating McDonalds and all the other crap foods they do and they still think that they’ll live forever because “it’s America”.
That is amazing to me.
I hope everyone voted who could. As of right now, there’s still time to if you haven’t.
I voted for Obama. I volunteered for Obama. I’d love to discuss why with a lot of you, but trying that in these comments seems too hard to keep up with. Anyway, if you haven’t made up your mind yet, I don’t know what you could be waiting for. There are major differences on issues, but some people just don’t take the time to get it.
“We can choose hope over fear, and unity over division. The promise of change over the power of the status quo. We can come together as one nation, as one people, and once more choose our better history. That’s what’s at stake. That’s what we’re fighting for.” – Barack Obama
I agree with Mizzy.
I’m also Canadian, and thus rely more on the US than folks of a lot of other countries, as we base the majority of our business with the US. If McCain gets elected, the policies will be the same as before, giving big companies tax breaks for exporting jobs while punishing the middle class for not being rich.
The World needs the US to change, even if your world consists of only the land inside your borders.
Obama, and CHANGE, for ’08-12.
@My7hos
Living healthy isn’t going to stop bones being broken, children getting sick, people getting cancer and other maladies that can affect the body.
And as terrible as it is with the obesity epidemic, those who live below a certain line of richness can’t afford shopping healthy. Plus McDonald’s doesn’t make it any better with their dollar menus.
@ Mizzy
Of course there will still be car accidents, kids falling out of trees, or employees working in unsafe environments, and that’s not to mention those who work in outright dangerous lines of work (comparatively) such as law enforcement or firefighters. Of course there needs to be some kind of health care plan, but not a bloated, overspending one for people who should be taking better care of themselves. A bloated tax-driven health care plan basically penalizes the rest of us who DO keep ourselves healthy and relatively disease/injury free.
People say it’s “more expensive” to eat healthy, but it’s really not in the long run. Heart-disease is the #1 killer in America right now, and I guarantee you that %100 of it would have been preventable with proper nutrition and exercise. The amount of funds that would be saved per-case just in that area is astounding.
I could get into the whole Medical/Food Industry conspiracy, but I’ll just say that more of it is true than you’d think.
As for McDonald’s… just watch “Super Size Me”. Enough said.
I have a feeling you’re an McCain supporter.
Pity.
Obama already has a victory in his hands…
Not in the long run, no.
But when do people EVER think in the long run?
That’s the problem, people need to be educated in long-term health. After all, isn’t that the “American Dream”? To live long, healthy, prosperous lives? People want to spent the cheapest amount on their health NOW but fail to consider the consequences later in their lives. Diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, Alzheimer’s, cancer – all preventable. It’s quite sad when you think about how many people would still be with us if they’d only made better choices.
Of course some might say “well, what about genes? Aren’t some people just overweight or unhealthy?”. While gene’s do sometimes play a factor in certain areas such as metobolism, immune system, etc, those bad factors can be negated, and even outright reversed based on action. Problem is most people would rather not act unless (or until) they have too. :(
NADER FTW!!! lol jk. u should get a pic of an E.O.D. goin “Double Maverick” lawlz
Obama winning in pop. vote by only 3 points
now only by 30,000 votes
The Keep it Clean forge art alone, would make me vote McCain.
But either way, (both economically and socially) we’re screwed out our asses.
My7hos -
I really agree with your positions on health and wellness. They are well though out, and unfortunately our country is pretty bad off regarding this. I can’t tell you how many friends I have who leave for a while, whether it’s South American, Europe, whatever – and when they come back they are fit, trim, and just plain smoking hot.
Somethings is not quite right.
Oh, and regarding guns – while I personally am not a big fan of them, considering there are more guns then people in this country, the debate about whether a person has the ‘right’ to own a gun is de facto over.
The people have spoken, we get guns if we want them. It would be impossible to make it any other way – not to mention literal suicide, much less the political variety! :D
I’m for Ralph Nader :P
Rotfl @ Nader. :D
Lol you guys. McCain’s and Obama’s tax plans are practically the same. The only difference is that while Obama wants to take from teh rich and give to the middle class, McCain wants to take from the middle class and give the money to Oil companies and Rich corporations. And BTW, Obama’s not actually a gay atheist muslim terrorist baby-hating america-hating druggie hippie radical leftist communist vampire werewolf who wasn’t born in the U.S., unlike most conservatives (on the interwebz) would have you believe.
the problem is that “weakness” is being seen as not continuing going in guns a-blazin in to Iraq, it’s a plan to let countries decide whether or not they want democracy and not force it on them because that is paradoxical. Obama is NOT anti-jewish. The jews, as well as the palestinians at this point have as much ownership of the situation in the middle east. Both sides have engaged in violence against each other and both sides must be mediated in order to find a solution, I realize that palestine may have instigated this, but there is no other solution other than to discuss. Being pro-negotiation is NOT being anti-semite.
Obama has a sound economic plan that proposes a ladder, not a shovel as McCains does. and judging from the way the polls are going, many Americans feel the same way. Obama is not bad, he is simply different.
in addition, Socialism is far from what Obama is, he aims to support the middle class, not give them free cash.
@ Mix Master, well considering your decisions directly affect me and my country, I feel like i should have an opinion, even if some Americans don’t.
Obama’s tax plan limits every American’s financial growth.
The cap is $250,000 (if that’s even truthful)? What happens if I want to succeed by creating something beautiful, a piece of art, or a novel, or beautiful architecture and it puts me over that cap? All of the sudden I’m having half of my reward for my creativity and hard work ripped from my hands and given (yes, *given*) to people sitting on their asses at home watching American Idol or The Young and Restless.
Screw, fucking, that.
Why do people think that Palin is okay?? I don’t get it. Is it because she has a semi-pretty face and breasts? Is it her vagina? Is it how cute she is when she’s being mentally handicapped all the time? “Go six-pack Joe America!!” …. shut the mother-fuck up Palin, I’m not Joe, and I don’t drink six-packs, nor associate myself with them… but you know who does? Rednecks. Southern slur folk. The ones who think that having a black presiden means the end of America… simpy because they’re black. How do I know this? Half my family (mother’s side) is as redneck as they come, and they do NOT like Obama, and any political debate I try to have with them ends with them saying that they like McCain becuase he’s McCain and that they like Palin because they want a woman in the office…
It saddens me to think that all it takes are some nice features and breasts to get into the Whitehouse. Hell, if that’s all it took, I know tons of people who could be president. Just walk down the street, find the first cute girl you see, ask her if she likes America but doesn’t like the terrorists, and if she answers yes to both of them, you have a replacement for Sarah Palin, but odds are she won’t be mentally handicapped like Sarah Palin…. no, really, she’s mentally retarded… I’m not saying that out of shear ignorance, she’s literally mentally retarded. Google her Intellegence Quotient, I.Q. It’s below 70… 70 being mentally retarded… please, just leave her in Alaska to have her imaginary wars with Russia, I don’t want to know what kind of hell the earth would become should she have the codes to the nuclear weapons of mass destruction.
If I had nukes, I’d probably be a little trigger happy. Good thing I’m not president, heh.
Now hear this, now hear this:
Obama is the projected winner with at least 297 Electoral Votes. I repeat, Obama is the projected winner with at least 297 Electoral Votes.
Your election update brought to you by Sarge Tomzilla News, a subsidiary of Schaedel News Network
Oh, Obama won :)
(I live in Australia)
Word. Obama wins. I win. You win. Americans win . The world wins.
Obama! Yeah, first African-American president of the U.S.A.! woot.
Awesome. Now I can phone the White House and go WASSUUUUUUP.
Hi Ya’ll! First of all, thank you MacGyver10 for defending my statement. You are correct. My point was simply that he will be soft on terrorists, and that we should be concerned at this.
@ PikminGod (16:33:40) :
Ron Paul: Two First Names; Twice the Man
:) AMEN! :)
Glad do see someone shares my views. Here’s to meeting you guys again at the polls in 4 years! Obama is at heart a socialist…however you want to disguise it…health care, taxing the rich…etc….its all taking from the “haves and giving it the have nots”. I have news for you people….its the “haves” that employ the rest of us. Raising the taxes on the big corporations means less jobs.
More Government = Higher taxes = Less Freedom
Here’s to change….being a single mom…I’m scared how much “change” he will take from my paycheck. :)
Trixie
Obama = hope to god those retarded rednecks don’t kill him like the ignorant, inbred motherfuckers they are, causing a nation-wide riot, countless murders, billions of dollars in damage, and most likely another civil war… no, seariously, I’d start that shit.
McCain = hope to god he doesn’t die of natural causes and leaves a mentally handicapped person in control with access to nuclear warheads.
Basically, one way leads to the end of America, should things go bad, another way leads to the end of the world, should things go bad. They’re both exagerated a little, but still scenarios that could happen.
On that note, WOOOOT!! Yay for Obama!! He won by almost a land-slipe too. I hope things start getting better in the coming year… no, not the coming months, the coming year, he’s just a man after all. Maybe we’ll leave the ignorant crazies in the 3rd world middle east countries alone now. Hell, if they really were going to do anything, they’d have to answer to Russia now, whose built up it’s military forces and is trying to expand it’s power, since America was too busy dilly-dallying and throwing away money into a false-war that got people killed who didn’t need to die and for what appears to be, according to the government, not me, for no reason whatsoever except that we wanted to… yeah, you guys really never lie to us, do you.
I can’t resist.
“An “Obama win” will be a win for terrorism….and Osama will be laughing. ‘Nuff said.”
A win for terrorism? Terrorism is a tactic. You will never get rid of it.
“My point was simply that he will be soft on terrorists, and that we should be concerned at this. ”
Where do you get this idea from? Sounds like talking points from a far right-wing neocon to me. Back this up with some facts and maybe you can convince people instead of scaring them to believe you.
I find statements like these ridiculous. Mainly because of Obama’s position on the “War on Terror.” He wants to get America out of the war in Iraq to actually fight Al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan. I’m not sure how that is a “win for terrorism.”
I can’t help but laugh every time I hear someone call Obama a socialist. He’s proposing to go from the current top marginal income-tax rate of 35% to the 39.6% tax rate that was in place during the Clinton administration. You know what happened under the Clinton Administration? The biggest economic expansion in American history. How the hell does this 4.6% turn capitalism into socialism?
As for health care, I don’t believe it should be a privilege for the wealthy. Health care should be a human right. Our constitution states that we are “endowed with unalienable rights, among them are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” Well in order to have life one must have health. Because of the 8th amendment, even prisoners have a right to free health care, but not law abiding American citizens. It’s despicable that our health care system is about making profits and not saving lives.
I’m starting to ramble and really wonder if this is going to be read.
“Obama is wack” there he goes again mccain trying to relate to the young people of America YOU ARE OLD!
