A Halo 3 Light Show

On a recent YouTube scouring expedition, amidst all the junk I stumbled upon a rather trippy video titled A Halo 3 Light Show. One of the few videos to actually have a relatively accurate name, the concept behind it is quite unique. I can’t say it was pulled off to its full potential but it’s definitely worth a watch. Running a too long seven minutes, there are some absolutely spectacular scenes but there’s also an equal amount of less interesting filler material. If you don’t want to invest that much time in this video, I highly recommend watching my personal favorites at the following time frames: :20-:40, 2:50-2:55, 3:25-3:35, and 5:10-5:30. Between the funky effects and the techno-esque music, prepare to be mesmerized into a psuedo drug-induced trance.

Hehe, I like the Needles on the wall thing. At 5:10- 5:30.
Sweet.
Indeed trippy
would be better on weed, LOL
there is definately a lot of potential in trippy light showslike this. I found the very end very cool.
Tip for everyone watching this : Set your monitor brightness to low before watching.
Now excuse me while I get new retina’s.
On another note. I like how these guys did something original.

Kato, that’s awesome! I had no idea you could do that. Thanks for linking them!
No prob, I just learned the trick the other day. I think it only went live this month.
u rok Dolly :)
ash
It’s about darn time there are Halo videos that don’t have rock music in it.
Trance and Techno for life!
It’s a shame the guy used Traffic by DJ Tiesto – that song is so overrated.
I would love too see some Above & Beyond instead.
its original and not crappy overused music, so awesome.
I feel like i’m the only one that found the movie fairly boring… It didn’t have the pace that the music suggested and wasn’t that exciting to watch. It seems like a good experiment and if they mixed several elements together (needles and plasma and sniper rounds combined, at a faster, more scene clipping pace) could be fun to watch.
That was awesome! One of my favorite Tiesto songs as well. Favorited.
um, at first i was OMG! OMG! OMG! but then i actually watched it… and now… yeah, a little let down. i like techno and all but that was not that great. i could do better. i think i might try. i’ll name it mini me! lol all i need is a better capture card… :-\
