Obviously my face is where Master Chief’s codpiece belongs. While that may be common knowledge, I still felt the need to have those exact sentiments in cross-stitch form. Based off an adorable pattern designed by Lauren, the entire idea was ispired by a rather simplistic video game-themed piece of embroidery. Originally I had intended to learn the whole complicated cross-stitch thing and make this piece myself but the risk of stabbing and permanently injuring my crucial trigger fingers was simply too high. Being the extremely resourceful (and by resourceful I mean lazy) person that I am, I opted to contact the maker of the original piece and relentlessly beg her to make it for me. Lucky for my fragile gamer fingers, she happily agreed. By absolutely no work on my part, I am now the content owner of the most amazing piece of Halo-themed cross-stitch you will ever lay eyes on. I know you’re jealous, but we all can’t have faces where Master Chief’s codpiece belongs ya know. Yay, you got it!! I was starting to get worried that it got lost in the mail. I’m glad you like it. I had a blast working on it, especially when I took it in public to the laundromat >: ) Serves those old biddies right for being nosy.
