Have you been playing Halo 3 faithfully since launch only to find the ever elusive rank of General continues to reside just out of your grasp? When you sleep at night, do you dream of your silver bird flying off into the distance and being replaced with beautifully glorious intertwined golden branches? No matter what you do, are you still a Brigadier? If so, you will be able to relate to this entertaining video called The Brigadier Rap. Be warned, it’s a YouTube video so it fills the low quality prerequisite but despite the extreme homemade nature of it, it should still make you laugh. After discovering this over the top cheesy video yesterday, I have gone back to watch it no less than three times so perhaps the tune will get stuck in your head as it did mine. Maybe they’ll come out with The Commander Grade 3 Rap next. I’d be able to relate to that a little more.

The song wasn’t that bad, but the video made me cringe. If they did the whole thing in Halo 3 it would have been better.
I agree with dustbunny, The song itself is actually pretty good.
One question though, where is ‘Still a Lieutenant?’
That was actually awesome. Bonus points for Knitting Needles at 2:35. Also, Commander Grade 3 is pretty well the best rank in Halo 3 anyway.

Avateur is a hilarious Brigadier to play with. When people give him a hard time about have a ‘bar’ below his ‘bird’ he instantly goes off about how is bird gets ‘tired’ and needs a place to rest.
We he gets his second bar, it will be because his bird has gotten fat and needs more support. :D
Maybe they’ll come out with The Commander Grade 3 Rap next. I’d be able to relate to that a little more.

Damn.. I been a brig since like December 07. I know i should be a general by now, i was a 48 in teamslayer, and won like 20 games in a row with out levling up once!
But me and my friend made new accounts, got got level 50 in like a week no problem.
It just seems that its harder to get a general because if you played halo3 when it first came out when the “true skill system” was still developing, while a year later when the true skill system is now fully working, and you make new accounts, you get it with no hassle.

MacPhisto, c’mon, did you even listen to that rap? Those guys said they’re stuck at a 45. I have like, three 45s and a 47. This song totally doesn’t apply to me and my fat ass bird. Speaking of a fat ass bird, I think eating enemies for breakfast for a few more games is all that it can take before I have to install a double birdy perch. Who wants those General stars anyway? My bird eats Generals for breakfast!

I want people thinking of me at all times, always, because that’s the only way it should be. Why think about things when you can think about me instead? But seriously, think of my poor, fat birdy. I fear that two bars might not even be enough to keep him perched. It will look so ugly if I get a third, though! Do you think I should make them gold, MacPhisto?

Commander Grade 3 here, been playing since May 08. It’s impossible not to get super frustrated leveling up through Lone Wolves – I mean it’s the same three tactics over and over (camping/throwing frags around every corner/swooping in for the kill steal). Social is where it’s at, I like a little variety in my Halo games.
Damn it Hawty, I’ve watched this video at least ten times now. The tune is unbelievably catchy.
Me and like 20 ppl i keep going up against in matchmaking are all majors, we need a song for that.
