Dead Space, an absolutely terrifying horror survival game much of the gaming world has been anticipating for quite some time now, officially released today. Even if you are overseas and have to wait an extra week or two for your copy, it’s still cause to celebrate in my book. And what better way to celebrate than by hosting a giveaway, right? Well, except for winning said giveaway of course. Up for grabs is one very special Dead Space-themed Xbox 360 faceplate custom made by none other than SpaceGhost2K (you can see more of his work at the faceplate section of XboxAddict.com). Featuring Isaac Clarke on the power button area and numerous autographs from the smoking hot development team, this is definitely a must have for any Dead Space fan. For your shot at winning this completely bad ass faceplate, simply write a haiku about Dead Space and leave it in a comment. The winner will not be judged by the quality of their poem but instead by a randrom integer drawing taken from all of the valid entries. Yes, I could have let you leave a plain old comment but I want you to entertain me. I’m just high maintenance like that. Contest Specifics
Write a Dead Space-themed haiku and submit it as a comment. You may submit more than one haiku, but only one will be counted as your official entry. Remember to leave a valid email address when leaving your comment as that is how the winner will be notified. As with the majority of my contests, I will happily ship anywhere so there are no region restrictions. Entries will be accepted until Friday, October 17th at 11:59 pm PST with the winner being formally announced on Sunday, October 19th. The winner will then have three days to respond via email to claim their prize. You don’t claim it, I keep it. I’m not kidding.
