Microsoft wants to give you stuff. Lots and lots of stuff. How do I know this? Because this weekend they are generously hosting no less than four separate Play & Win Sweepstakes. You have until 11:59 P.M. on September 28, 2008 to play Grand Theft Auto IV, Madden NFL 09, NASCAR 09, or NCAA Football 09 for your shot at winning everything from an Elite console to video games to Microsoft Points to {insert tons of other swag related shit here}.
Considering the severe lack of Play & Win Sweepstakes Microsoft offered over the entirety of the summer, I would venture a guess they are either making up for lost time or perhaps they hired someone new to manage that particular section (Hi Kiki!). Go read the official rules, find out how to enter the ones you are interested in, then go play! Don’t forget, Xbox Live has scheduled 24 hours of downtime starting on Monday so make sure you get some multiplayer gaming in over the weekend. You don’t want to start off your week with the shakes or anything.
Did they say whether they are region-locking this, just like they do with NASCAR games (hence why I play NASCAR 09 EU)?

The Chris D, they are all “open only to legal residents of the 50 United States (includes the District of Columbia)” with the GTA one also including Canada. Do they do a lot of these for those of you that are overseas?

i dont own any of the games listed for this weeks play and wins, however, i have won 400 points from an old gta4 play and win. the weird thing though is that i dont even own the game, just signed up. o well, their mistake.
And I hear that their are going to be a ton more Live weekends before the end of the year! :)

All I want is the faceplates. I’ve tried everything I can think of, short of walking up to EA’s front door – and I was IN Redwood Shores last Thursday. I was just too late or I’da done it. They make 100 plates and then don’t tell anybody about them and make them impossible to find or even get any information about them. EA, YOU’RE DRIVIN’ ME NUTS! How about a care package for the Faceplate Guy? I’d like a set, but I’ll even give them away. SPEAK TO ME!
