I think some eejit got those two labels mixed up. Though how bloody annoying is it that Rock Band is selling for $170 (£95) in the US when it is £160 ($290) here in the UK.
i love walmart…its an error in the system…if an automatic price change happens it wont update teh store system on its own, so when you go to do a rollback you wont know and then debacles like this happen….the manager probably told one of his employees to change all the rockband signage to rollback and he wanted to be a smartass, so instead of bringing the error up he made this sign…
I knew Wal-Mart was stupid, but DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN!
If it was Rock Band 2 AND Guitar Hero World Tour, then sure…
This kind of retardation is almost as bad as whoever decided a $600 PS3 was good.
Lol, I can’t believe you guys are complaining. Here in DownUnder it’s not even out yet, and rumours of a $400 (yes, you read that correctly, but just incase you need more emphasis, $400 0.o) package seem to be coming true. All Australian gamers have been advised by everyone not directly associated with the game to boycoutt it. Don’t believe me? Here’s a direct quote from Kotaku…
“Firstly, as in Europe, there’ll be no all-in-one bundle. You’ll have to buy the game separately, and the game is going to retail for AUD$120 (USD$115). For instruments, you’ve got two options. All will be available individually (guitars are priced at AUD$110/USD$105, with drums at AUD$160 and mics TBA) , but you’ll also have the option of buying a “hardware kit” that includes one guitar, drums and one mic. That’ll cost you AUD$290 (USD$277). So to buy the game and the hardware bundle (ie what you get in the $169 American bundle), you’ll be paying AUD$400. That’s USD$380.”
Yep…screw you Activision. I hope all of your mother dies a horrible death. Then get infected with the T-Virus, then eats your other family members, then sleep soundly knowing that she’s coming for YOU!
I always play games alone, so not very interesting for me :(
Wait… What! From $159.83 to $169.83. What!

I think that’s the point, Jim. It’s no bargain, it’s a ripoff. “Smile, you’re leaving with more!” Fucking wal-mart.
not surprising that they’re ripping people off, but projecting it in the open like that?
tsk tsk
Smile, you’re spending even more!
Yes! I’m saving -10 dollars! Wait a minute…
That’s not even Rockband 2 :P
*facepalm*
Wooowww. LAME. I got my RB for $150 :P
Rock Band FTL!
GH:WT FTW!

IT’S ELECTRONIC ARTS!
UBISOFT WOULD NEVER BE THIS OUTRIGHT RETARDED!
LULWUT!?
Thats all I can really say.
That help make my morning.
Anywho. At the Best Buy I work at, we had so many extra Rock Band’s earlier this year, we dropped the price to 124.99. Lets say we sold most of them.
hehe… 69… ;-)
Hahahah the irony
LOL the Light Show, … I totally pictured you saying that in a Beavis & Butt-head sort of voice!
Makes me glad I’m missing out. I’m not paying upwards of €200 for the entire kit >:(
Oh yeah, Electronic Arts. Erm…that’s what I meant?
