Confirmed Kills, an ongoing Halo 3 video series that features player submitted game clips and ranks them in a top ten format, just released a new video after taking a three month hiatus. I stopped watching this particular series several months ago as the quality of clips is consistently low. After such a long break I was expecting some mind-blowing examples of virtual battlefield prowess. Instead I got something decently mediocre but at least acceptable for Saturday afternoon viewing. In an effort to say something positive, I will admit that I love their new background of pretty swirlies behind the number of the clip. Oops, and the niceness is now gone just as quickly as it arrived. If you would like some tasty commentary to go with your video, hit the jump. Otherwise just hit play and enjoy the instant ego boost you will get from watching it.
10. Nobody cares if you can spawn kill people with a gravity hammer whom haven’t even started to move in a gametype that has forced spawns. Here’s an idea for next time, PICK UP THE FUCKING BOMB AND SCORE IT YOU DOUCHEBAG.
9. I approve the shooting of your laser while riding brokeback. If I drove you around, you would shoot your laser too. Many times.
8. I love regenerators. Not quite as much as I love when the opposing team runs around holding hands though.

I think #2 is #2 because it has 2 double-laser added to a rampage medal. Double Laser is not something that frequent, getting 2 in such a short time is even less, added to the rampage medal I think it would even deserve n°1… considering that all the other clips are crap :P

I am unsure, but I think clip 5 was used in a previous Confirmed Kills. It seems really familliar with the multiple br frags on the castle-esque map. Hmm, maybe not.

I fail to see why #1 is #1. There’s nothing that difficult there. Give me a gauss cannon and a few enemies and I could do the same thing. Heck, I could do it from across the map

I like the new ornateness of the animations between clips, but the clips themselves didn’t really didn’t give me the jaw dropping experience I expected.

The only Confirmed Kills that I’ve seen are the ones you’ve hosted. And, from what I can tell, they’re all pretty lame. They’re always showing power weapon whores who get really lucky. Actually, not quite true, this clip did have a Mongoose kill (with a power weapon, admittedly, but that’s still somewhat hard) and that BR spree on MLG flag.
And I don’t care if you’re good with the sniper. Wow, you like the most overpowered, unbalanced weapon in the game, and you got really good with it. Good for you. Are there any clips out there showing tests of mettle, like some one pwning with a normal weapon (like BR, AR, Plasma Rifles, etc)?

I haven’t watched this series for a long time, and I agree with you that it for the most part sucks. Actually, nix that. It fully sucks.

i do have to make an edit to my last post…about 6 minutes after posting this i got ANOTHER “Stick Double Kill from the Grave” but this one is a “Stick Double Kill from the Grave with Bull True” And it was on the Pit with normal weapons set…my fav video by me ever and its in my File share so you can all put it in your next montage

hey it’s confirmed kills, and they all got all of their kills. their kills were confirmed. the deaths that resulted from their weapons that contributed to their own or their team’s efforts were confirmed. it may not be pretty, or skillful, or professional, or good, or jaw-dropping, or… well, actually they just all suck basically is what i’m trying to say… :-\
at least we know that the guys who make confirmed kills are still alive!

This video sucked.
Most of the videos were crap. I mean only idiots go chasing a guy with a bubble shield and a shotty. I could pick more but i haven’t had time to watch it all, only got to number 7 before i gave up.
The Quality was also awful, i know that it was on youtube but omfg you could hardly see what was going on. Like youtube comment said they should leave this to MLG.

9. Okay, on a Mongoose, that is actually fairly tough. Not amazingly so, but enough that I can sit with this appearing here without upchucking.

4. First off: how did he go from that guy in the mancannon to a Killing Spree in zero seconds? And Teleport? What about those other four kills, were they made of too much fail? Secondly, Mancannons send people flying in a predictable parabolic arc, which tend to deposit them right in the crosshairs of someone who can actually use a sniper. Thirdly: Anyone else see that MISS that they almost edited out? Key word there: almost. I think they were trying to pass both snipes off as one spree. Pity that the only people that would watch these vids KNOW EXACTLY WHERE HE WAS ON THE MAP AND CAN RECOGNIZE THE MEDALS.
3. Shot one: point-blank body shot with a beat-down. Shot two: aimed using the shield door as cover. Shot three: MISS Shot four: I’d say that this requires skill, but I have the other three shots as precedents. I have friends who suck #$$ with the sniper who can pull that off from time to time. I’m willing to bet you he just got lucky.
2. Even with the double kill, this still wasn’t that impressive.
1. Okay, cool, but does not deserve the top spot. Requires less skill than five. Come to think of it, these vids almost seem to suck more as they go along…
