If you notice you are frequenting the virtual battlefield of Halo 3’s multiplayer more than the comfortably familiar campaign these days, you may find yourself missing the sporadic appearances of a certain sexy holographic character. Lucky for you there is a custom Xbox 360 faceplate up for grabs on eBay right now that can make your loneliness for artificial intelligence disappear almost as quickly as your health does on the Cortana level.
Purchase here : wrxdj’s eBay Store
Buy It Now Price : US $90.00
Auction ends : Sep-14-08 03:23:58 PDT
Featuring real blue stained glass accents and silver etching throughout the faceplate, the very familiar Halo logo sits behind a Cortana figure whose ass appears to be glued to the power button. I personally don’t care for the appearance of this faceplate as it’s much too busy for my tastes, but it may make a nice collectible for anybody who is particularly passionate about Halo. Then again, $90 seems a bit pricey so perhaps you should just grab your own Cortana action figure, set it next to your console, and call it good. Don’t worry, you can still press that certain little area when you turn on your console if it makes you feel better.

“turn on your console” hope there was no pun intended.

I find plugging in USB devices with this on may be um… a bit difficult.

Man, that thing is hideous o_O
This thing has Barbie written all over it. I’d rather see a good paint job on face-plates.

i’m not impressed with this either. it looks like a 10 year-old super glued a broken bottle and a Cortanan to the front of her dad’s xbox and now he has to sell it to buy a new one…

I really don’t miss Halo 3 Cortana actually. She was fragging annoying for most of the game.
