While attending PAX last weekend, I spent some time gathering the best stuff I could get my hands on, all for one of you. I guess you could say I kinda sorta like you guys and gals. Oh, who am I kidding? I absolutely adore all of you, and this is one way I get to show you that. Honestly, I treasure experiences the most. I loved standing in the lines, interacting with various members of the communities, and just soaking in the entire PAX experience. I will still have all of that even if I don’t have the tangible items to go with it so it is all good in my book. :)

The coolest piece here in my opinion is the Artwork signed by Isaac Hannaford. Hand drawn artwork like this always seems to get my soft spot.

All the artwork catches my eye, but if I had to choose, I would say the Lorraine McLees artwork tops my list. Ever since I saw it in the HGN, its been something that I’ve wanted. Thanks for your hard work at PAX and sharing your swag!

My favorite thing in the swag bag has got to be the Halo 3 soundtrack. I’ve been in love with the music from halo since first playing Under Cover of Night in Halo 1, and a signature from Marty O’Donnell on the soundtrack for Halo 3 is just amazing to me.

I’m really liking the artwork signed by the various artists :) Other than that, the signed soundtrack is sweet, i listen to the Halo 3 soundtrack almost every day (being the sad person that i am)
I wish they had more of these conventions in the UK, then maybe i’d have a chance of going to one and bagging some swag.

I really like the artwork of the warthogs jumping towards the Forerunner structure.
That Dead Space shirt looks awesome, that game looks real promising and I like the “strategic dismemberment” they implemented into the game and those dark surroundings…reminds me of Bioshock…

I have to say that my favorite piece of swag you have is the print of the landscape on a Halo Installation, with the ring rising upwards vertically from the horizon. The landscapes from all three games have been some of my favorite parts of the game, and I’ve been known by people in my party during various “campaigns” is to “stop and smell the roses.”
Secondly, I’d kill for a a soundtrack signed by Mr. O’Donnell, as the music he’s done are just orgasmic to the ears. (Yes, I went there.)

I would LOVE to see a high-budget Halo anime. I’ve only seen a handful of anime, but I really enjoyed the ones I watched. I adore mehve’s artwork (and the lady herself is pretty freaking cool too!) and I hope to meet with her one day and hopefully talk about a bunch of stuff — she seems like she’d be so interesting to converse with in person!
While I am DEEPLY intrigued by whatever event you got that Bungie shirt at, the event and the shirt are unknown to me in their significance, while the significance of the artwork and the person who signed it ARE definitely known to me.
I really wanted to go to PAX this year, and hope to go next year, but I’ve so far been unable to afford to go.
On a random note, I just noticed your smiley face in the bottom left side of the webpage. I’ve seen that thing before, but I can’t remember where. It might have been here, but I don’t think it was…

I will go with the complimentary approach.
I believe that you serve a very beneficial purpose to the community, by drawing attention to female gamers. I can remember the first time I saw a news post on HBO about something you did, and I went: “Who is this?” Considering how underrepresented females are in the gaming community, I think it’s great that there’s someone like you out there, doing good things. I would have to pick the soundtrack because I think more than any other part of a game the soundtrack is what draws me in. A game without music is a game without substance; you need music to create ambiance in a game, and I can’t imagine fighting the flood without the creepy aural backdrop.

long time reader first time poster,
it amazes me that bungie is so dedicated to there fanbase, rarely can you find a company that TRULY bases a huge portion of what it does based on its fans and not so heavily weighted towards what will be marketable. Thanks for the chance at being part of the PAX, from those of us who can only wish they could go.
Personally, i think the Hannaford piece is the best of the bunch!

I like the Cortana/Cheif picture and the Chief/all human weapons picture, those are sweet.

A BUNGIE T-shirt from an “Event you can’t name”? I’m listing that one because it would be the item I would be most likely to defend with my life. I can’t beleive you’d sell or give ANY of this away though. Can I call you a psycho and still be considered for the draw?
The artwork offerings in there are incredible too, but I’d hate to have to choose between them.. I’d love to adorn my house with all of that stuff, but the odd one with the shark.. that’s awesome for it’s potential teaser value, plus the style reminds me of the artstlye on “Black Out”.
You just KNOW we’ll all see it somewhere and go “OHHH!! there it is!” How cool would it be to have that on your wall, potentially months ahead of it being discovered, and all your friends are like.. “woah..” (well.. assuming your friends are anything like Keanu Reeves at all).
Please note: We’re big zombie fans over here too. (That’s where my nickname originates).
If someone wins and stipulates that they aren’t interested in the zombie stuff, (especially the Dead State Female T-shirt), could you send that over here to ensure it get’s the proper appreciation and doesn’t end up on Ebay, or the trash or something? I’m sure my girlfriend would love to score that shirt.

I am in love with the score from Halo 3. I think that Marty is one of the best composers of his time. It’s amazing to think that he started out as a jingle writer! (Flintstone’s Kids/Bungie Kids anyone?) LOL
Therefore, my absolute favorite is the SIGNED soundtrack by one of my musical heroes!

I personally love the Chief & Cortana by Isaac Hannaford the most. All the stuff there looks great, but that artwork really sticks out in my mind.
I’ve also been following Dead Space closely, and am amazed at the souvenirs you got from them as well.

OMG! The Halo3 Mosaic logo with the autographs!! Screw the klondike Bar, I’d do anything for the Limited Edition (#11 of only 25 made, certificate included) Halo 3 Poster Scene Montage from my personal collection with 15 signatures! You must really love us to go down to PAX and collect stuff for the Community rather then yourself. This gives all the people who didnt make it to PAX a chance to still walk away with one of a kind items. I myself will be going to PAX next year. I missed it this year but that wont happen again!

What I would love the most?
The H30ST.
Especially the fact it is signed by Marty.
I love the first 2 game soundtracks, but am yet to get the third. Marty is just such an amazing man to, to create the Halo music, music which greatly sums up the games feel and experience.
With the H3 Soundtrack, my Air Guitar playlist would be complete :D

The signed artwork from Bungie mostly that print from the Halo graphic book, the one that Lorraine McLees did with Cheif and the ODSTs. Her art work effin rocks and I’ve wanted a larger version of the print for a long time, much less signed. I would get it framed and hang it up in the living room, which should be cool with my as she let me put a Halo 2 door poster on our bedroom door!

bs angel, you are one of the least selfish people i know, let alone gamers. Gamers that are this interested in games (ie, making a blog almost entirely dedicated to one and continuously making codpiece jokes about anothers main character) would die to get their hands on that swag and then lock it away somewhere never to be seen again. You on the other hand bring it home and freaking give it all away, keeping just the experiences to yourself. words cannot describe how rare this is in todays world. the world really needs a couple more bs angels. (could use less codpiece jokes tho) :P

Wow, there are so many excellent things in there it’s hard to pick just one. The scene montage poster is pretty great as a collectible. The print of the chief and Cortana signed by Isaac Hannaford would look great in a nice frame.
