They originally planned to have drag racing in the game, hence the HKS180SX and the Intrepid upgrade with the blower on the hood. But they ran out of time and shipped the game anyways, which meant that you could only get 99.8%. And the Escudo Pikes Peak was the MFW on that game! GT2 was notorious for all sorts of glitches.
