Rocket Deflection with a Frag Grenade

I love seeing the completely random and crazy things that happen in Halo 3 that we otherwise would have missed if it weren’t for the very popular theater mode. While this video doesn’t even begin to compare to the spectacular rocket deflection video that resulted in one of the oddest double kills I have ever seen, it’s still entertaining in its own right. It will make you marvel at the luck of the fortunate player who threw the potent grenade. It will make you pity the poor rocket launcher wielding soul who was stripped of his very easy kill. And last but not least, it will make you wonder if your speakers are even turned on. Well, are they?
They are, but you can barely hear them.
It’s been done, but it’s still strange.
i still like my video where a guy i get stuck with the sword on the floor in construct with the lined up explosives! I lunge across them to kill the guy on the other side of the explosives but before i can, the sticky blows up and blows up all the explosives sending us both flying! It counted as a suicide for him! LOL! Video can’t capture it well though!

Anyone else remember the vid of a shotgun hitting the floor after a guy died and it discharged, killing the other guy?

I’ve done something similar (I threw a grenade and it blew up next to a rocket comming tward me making it veer of and explode) didn’t kill anyone but this guy got lucky…
Dang. Gotta love ‘nades.
I’ve sniped rockets off course before. But they never actually killed the shooter.
I deflect rockets through sheer force of will. But I don’t try to kill other players with them. That would be part of “the dark side”.
I love these things. I think I did it once before somewhere, but don’t remember when or how…
