So I bet you are busy ogling the absolutely gorgeous theme in the picture above. Titled “Futura Resistance” and described as “grunge meets high-tech”, it was a popular entry in the DP Content Creation Challenge, a contest where gamers were given the chance to try their hand at creating original Dashboard themes. As of yesterday, you are now able to purchase this completely bad ass theme on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for a mere 150 Microsoft Points. For less than $2 you not only get a theme that looks positively beautiful, but you also get to support a fellow talented gamer. So where exactly can you find it? I’m so glad you asked!
- Go to the “Marketplace” tab on your Xbox 360
- Select the “Games Store” option
- From there choose “Themes and Gamer Pictures”
- Go to “Independents”
- You will then see “Disruptive Publishers” where this theme will be located
Themes like this one will look especially beautiful once the new Dashboard is released. Hit the jump to check out the rest of the blades then hop on over, grab yourself a new theme, and revel in its beauty. Oh, and congratulate the artist if you feel so inclined. Now if you’ll excuse me, my boring old Dashboard is in dire need of a makeover.

i never been a fan of paying/downloading themes, because my defualt carbon one, always looked better, but this looks like a carbon 2.0, so im going to buy this one and try it out, hopefully it will work with the new fall dashboard right?

Microsoft has said all themes and gamerpics will be functional with the new Dashboard. :)

Very nice! congrats to tiny! :) I’m still waiting on mine to be published… they should publish 5 of my designs and I already edited one of them. Hopefully I see them soon! I’ve been bragging about them so much that people are starting to doubt me and think I’m crazy LOL
