I always thought I had the worst luck when playing Halo 3, but I do believe someone may finally be giving me a run for my money. STL2ATLplaya, the ill-fated victim in this short but highly entertaining video, is playing a game of Team Doubles when he launches a power drain at an opponent, successfully kills him, but then dies when … well, just watch the video as mere words simply won’t do it justice. Let’s just say I may have to add this incident to The Definitive Guide to Recognizing if Bungie Hates You.

Wow…just wow…maybe Bungie was trying to make the shotgun as real as possible and coded the shotgun to go off if it was jarred with enough force. Or…thats just some REALLY bad lag.

Guys(/Girls) i dont think this is very funny. That poor Elite will never walk again thus proving that we should all buy Halo gun safes to make sure Elites dont play with guns. :)

Ouch. Reminds me of getting killed by after-death shots in FEAR. Now that I think about it, it would be awesome if this was actually normal in the game. Death by twitching trigger fingers.

That’s the second time I’ve seen someone get their ankles blown off by a shotgun after the shotgunner died. Very entertaining. Something tells me guns don’t have safeties set when they’re dropped.
Ok, I know how to avoid this. Just do a victory jump after killing the guy with the shotgun. Ta-da! No shot ankles.
