Sometimes You Have to Kill the People You Love

I highly recommend unplugging your laptop and beginning the trek to your bathroom so you can watch this deliciously scary video while sitting on the toilet. Either that or put your big girl panties on because the newest Dead Space trailer will surely scare the crap out of you. If I was on the fence about this game before watching this, I’m certainly not anymore after hearing the line, “Sometimes you have to kill the people you love”. Oh man, I am going to be so good at this game.

Watch a higher quality version here.

Any word on a Co-op campaign for this game? Might help with the heebie-jeebies to have a friend watching your back…or watching you get devoured. Not sure how a PvP multiplayer would work in this game though.

That wasn’t so bad. Awesome, yes, but not really scary. Then again, it’s never scary to me to watch. I’ll end up like that when I’m playing. At night, at really high res, and…

Okay, no need to go further. :)

Bleugh, I hate horror. The Flood is about as much as I can stand.

Does anyone else think this is just a halo horror game? Because the main character seems very master chiefish with his glowing bucket for a helmet. Also whats up wit the crossbow gun? Oh, and the trailer was not that scary but like the other above me, alone in hi def would be very freaky. One more thing, i have no problem if this was just a halo horror game.

I don’t really feel a lot of Halo elements in it. The third person will make it feel different, plus it looks to be much more strategic over all as far as needing to choose the optimal weapon for each individual enemy you encounter. I’m interested in seeing how the no hud plays out.
