The Needler is Mine

While there are a plethora of incredible Halo-themed minifigures being crafted from tiny plastic building blocks these days (see what I did there SoxKid05?), only one of them is wielding an amazing multicolored needler. This just happens to be that one.

custom LEGO master chief minifig

Purchase here : brickarm’s eBay Store
Current bid : US $9.99
Auction ends : Jul-18-08 16:59:48 PDT

This custom LEGO Master Chief figure comes with a variety of weapons including an assault rifle, a pistol, an smg, and a few frag grenades. All you really need to know though is that the beautiful glowing pink homing projectile launcher (also known as the needler) is included. Compatible with stock LEGO minifigs, the miniature weapon is 100% injection molded and 200% absolutely adorable. While I have no earthly idea what injection molded means, I’m pretty sure it has something to do with being completely bad ass. Because it is.

P.S. I really do know what injection molded means so don’t email me the definition. kthxbai.

UPDATE : This item sold for US $91.00.

I really do wish they would make a Lego Halo Game, one that went through all three games…*sigh*…it would be sweet!

you could’ve gotten him at Brickworld ’08 if you were a Lego fan in Chicago. It was a couple of weeks ago. The only part is they were $20, which is still kinda expensive for a Lego.

I’m pretty sure injection-molded is where u inject liquid plastic into a mold, then open it and out pops the piece. That’s why most toys have those protruding lines running along the sides of the pieces; it’s from the crack in the mold.

What that means is this guy melted plastic and stuck it in a custom mold… piece by piece 0_0
