Bungie has been in my life since I first played Marathon. I remember being amazed by the game, and how non-linear it was. For awhile, Bungie fell under my radar, until I went to a store one day and found “ONI” which I played and rather enjoyed. One day, a system called the XBOX came out, and Halo was my first game I got on it. I don’t remember a time where I enjoyed the single player’s action AND story in a first person shooter so much. I was hooked! Halo 2 would come out a few years later with an expanded story (I LIKE the cliffhanger, so leave me alone) and awesome multiplayer. Back then, three years for Halo 3 seemed like three decades. We all knew it was coming, but we didn’t know when. One faithful E3 we saw Master Chief walking in a desert towards what we now know is the Ark. Another year, and we get gameplay footage and a release date. Halo 3 came out, and it has since become one of my favorite games.

Bungie is great, and their community has all been inspired by them. Have a happy Bungie day, you guys. I <7 you!
