How to Get Recon Armor, Attempt #1

Enthusiastic Halo fanatics everywhere are always searching for a surefire way to acquire the highly coveted Recon armor. Some people claim to know super secret strategies that they confidently guarantee will bring success in your ever elusive Recon quest. Since I am all about being helpful, I have decided to put some of these methods to the test so you don’t have to. Yup, I’m just nice like that. For my first attempt, I am going to follow the advice of this video I found on YouTube. I was drawn to it because of its title, “How to get recon armour this is sure to work”. It’s sure to work, awesome!
I have transcribed the text within in this video (verbatim) in case you decide to try this technique as well.
The way to get recon armour
As you see I had made a recon armour vid before but if you wernt in my first hundred subscribers Well this is the right vidio for you
Well as you no my mate works with bungie he said if let on that you were a bungie member they will believe you because my mate is the one that looks a the vidio
Its this easy follow these steps 1 by 1 but you may pause if there going to fast
But ill go through this brief fist
Well what happens when a bungie member gets a new account Thats right what does happen
Well how does the bungie people or people who worked for it get it back?
Well they send a message saying that they got a new account!
Right you probable understand now right if not go back over it again
Step 1: Make a email account that sounds like one of the bungie employee. Pick an employees name
Step 2: Send an email to webmaster@bungie.net and make a email the following
MAKE THE TITLE RECON ARMORY
Make the body of your emais these specifications
First, give a back story why you got a new account and just say you don’t no how to get your old account back for example
OH don’t forget to sound proffional or they will see that your lieing
Put down this information. Put your new gamertag (the won you have) and underneath it put…
CODE: NcReO NitGeG Ma l lelveb lautyacl l. This is CASE SENSITIVE by the way
Well done you completed step 2. Now where on step 3
Step 3: Your gamertag must have less than 20 XP other wise they will no that it is not new
Now another congradulations that you completed my vid hope it worked for you as it did for others!!!

So, step 1 was set up an email account that resembles a Bungie employee’s name. I decided to go above and beyond and make my email address iamabungieemployee@gmail.com. For my gamertag, I used one that was already set up for my forum. It’s just a silver account so there is no EXP on it, thus fulfilling the less than 20 EXP requirement. Here’s a copy of the email I just sent off. I have a feeling this is totally going to work!

I sit across from the guy who reads the webmaster’s emails. (Usually the webmaster is too drunk to type). He gets tons of people pretending to be Bungie employees. Most infamously TJ Hiram.
Pete just responds to people who send these emails, telling them to just come by his desk and he’ll help them set up their new account with Recon. Works like a charm!
After watching this all i could think was “How could this not work?”
Anyone got any ideas for a good backstory. Im thinking about something along the lines of “I lost my recon playing in the yard yesterday”

this is almost as good as the people who take pictures of recon armor then say send this to everyone you know and you will get this armor.. it are full ROFLS at all of the n00bs who actually do it. (ive actually gotten the message from some of my friends and removed them from my list)

Im so surprised that you dont already have recon since you’ve already helped the Bungie community so much. Why dont you just try asking them for recon im pretty sure it will work. :)
