This weekend Bungie is showing the long barrel some love for our favorite healthy double dose of experience festivities. Starting now, and by now I mean approximately 25 hours ago (don’t look at me like that! I never said I was a breaking news site you high maintenance jerks), you can play the torturous Team Snipers until Monday the 23rd at 2am PDT. They are soliciting feedback for the possibility of making future Snipers weekends 3v3 instead of 4v4 so go give your opinion here. They also tweaked the playlist slightly where the games now go to 50 kills instead of the previous 25. Wonderful. Now I can get spawn killed for twice the amount of time. While you’re at it Bungie, why don’t you give everybody else invisibility and then spawn me directly in the middle of the map with absolutely no cover? You already have half of that covered at least. (Yes, I may be slightly bitter after playing some particularly bad sniper/shotty games on Standoff this last week. Fucking crappy ass spawns. And I mean that in the nicest possible way.)

Such hatred! I agree that standoff is probably the worst map for snipers in all 3 halo series. I actually hate the lazer games more than the frustration of getting spawn kills.
I suck at a sniper so anyone who sees me online… just get it over with quickly. That’s all I ask.
I’m very hot and cold with the sniper. Sometimes I am unstoppable with it, other times I can’t hit the broad side of the barn. Keep in mind I am good with it 1% of the time and bad with it 99% of the time. Such is life. :)
im like the same way bs. Th only thing i dont get about this playlist, is the splasers game. I thought since it was a snipers playlist, it was going to be snipers and lasers. But no, its just lasers. Why random lasers in a sniper playlist?

I can’t snipe in Halo, but anyother game I’m a master (I know modest right?). But seriously, my problem is I keep expecting for the sniper to have some kick-back, know know shake a little or something. But it’s so ridged I always try to compensate for kick-back that’s not there and I end up jerking the rectical away from my target, then I just get frustrated. What I really don’t get is why a high powered rifle barely causes you to flinch, but when you grab a single SMG it’s like trying to hold a box of rabid cats?
