Master Chief and Cortana, the much beloved leading characters from the Halo video game series, have been the subject of numerous art pieces across many different mediums. Alone and together they have graced sexy envelope-pushing posters, custom painted faceplates, and prints made from original canvas paintings (among several other original art pieces as well). This piece of original artwork (which measures 11″ x 17″) was done on heavy pastel paper. While liberties were obviously taken with Cortana, I actually really like the blue that was selected as her color. I appreciate how muted it is with its brown undertones and how seamlessly it flows with the main colors of the entire piece. Don’t kill me but I even like her hairstyle better this way. Between her hair and seductive eyes, she really looks quite modern and beautiful. I am sure all of you are too busy ogling the boobs from the last poster to care anyways. Pervs.

I have to say I do not really notice Cortana in this poster. Not because I’m ogling the former picture though. :p
It’s the Chief, from his helmet to the shape of his legs, and especially the crotch plate in general, everything seems to me to have slightly skewed proportions compared to what it should be.

I actually prefer ogling to this Cortana her bewbs they are more realistic and better shaped, she may pose a lil less willing than the other she appeals much more to me!*checks if girlfriend doesn’t see this*

Hey! I have a really high resolution version of that Reiq Cortana picture! Funny that he was selling it on ebay… I got a 2000+ reso version… anyway.
Yeah, I don’t like this picture. Too many things aren’t quite right.
-Master Chief’s visor is too tall, even for that angel
-MC’s lower abdominal armor plate is too long
-The angle of the knees and feet is waaay off
-The Assault Rifle is absolutely wrong
-MC’s neck is too long/deltoid armor plating is high enough
-Cortana is anorexic
-Where the hell are they??
Sorry, I’m an art-sentric person, and I like to be a harsh critic. These are things that are easy to mess up on (some of them anyway), so it’s understandable that there’s some awkwardness to it, but I don’t think it’s the caliber of material you try to sell. It’s just too out of proportion and out of wack. As for being a harsh critic, I feel it’s better to be honest than to tell them their sh** don’t stink…. wow, this is a really negative post… o’well.

I like this Cortana a lot more than the other one. Not sure about the Joanna Dark hair, but she looks fragile, like a girl of light should look. The other poster, that chick looks like she’s from the WWE. Nothing about it appeals to me at all.

Master Chief’s armour is actually a metallic khaki, which is in between green and brown. Refer to the E3 announcement trailer, his armour is pretty close to the colour in this painting.

I too stink with the sniper rifle. I love it when i play solo but online – piff – I’m dead before i can zoom.

To be fair, his armour was really only represented as “green” in Halo CE, back when the textures weren’t as refined.
I’m not trying to argue here, I was just voicing my opinion beside yours.
