Hold Hands and Remember the Good Times

I will never forget a particularly memorable multiplayer game that occurred one evening in the middle a marathon Halo 3 session. We were red team and playing on Rat’s Nest. I hopped into a warthog turret while awaiting my driver who was on respawn. Along came a blue guy who quickly hopped in the driver’s seat and took off. I decided to go with it, hoping he would take me towards his base where I could pick off a few opponents before dying. If only I had been so lucky. He sped his way toward rockets and drove us right off the cliff. Bastard. This shirt makes me think of that moment.

This Halo-themed shirt says, “Hold hands and remember the good times”. While I didn’t want to hold his hand and it certainly didn’t qualify as a good time, I still find this t-shirt appealing. I’m a big Thelma & Louise fan so it’s also reminiscent of the shocking ending of that classic chick flick. Oh man, I tear up just thinking about that scene. I need some tissues. Good times indeed.

A guy from the other team drove a warthog past me…

    I hopped on the turret…

He drove us off a cliff, laughing psychotically.

    Moral of the story?

Do NOT get in the car, he does NOT have candy!

    XD
