Flickr user skinny coder has an ever expanding library of video game and LEGO mashups. There are currently eleven different scenes any gamer would recognize crafted from everybody’s favorite colorful interlocking plastic bricks. The Duck Hunt scenes are my favorite, but they are all really quite good. Just for the record, I’m pretty awesome with LEGO bricks as well. I can build the best single column walls you have ever seen. Sometimes they even stay standing up, they’re that awesome. Until I take pictures of mine, enjoy these old school video game scenes.

Those are awesome. I love the Excitebike and Mortal Kombat ones the best. I played those games so so much.
I also dabble in the art of LEGO creations. I can make a mad box.

These are all really cool. I love the Castlevania one, it looks the cleanest and it seems like it’s technically proficient. I think they’re all great, but the Castlevania, Shadow of the Colossus, and Katamari Damaci ones all caught my eye. They looked nice, and they seemed very difficult to put together. I’m still trying to figure out how he did the Katamari.
Also, if you love Halo, and LEGOs, go check out Sabre Scorpion. He’s got some absolutely awesome Halo ones. I’ve seen a lot, but his were incredible. Mostly because he didn’t just build them then skin them so they looked right, but he built them to scale… as it 5 foot tall Grunts, 6 foot tall Marines, 7 foot tall Spartans, 7-8 foot tall Elites, and 9 foot tall Brutes. He built a Hunter a while ago, but he’s working on getting it to scale… just go check out his stuff. He’s also got Metal Gear, Mass Effect, and much more.
