Exclusive McFarlane Comic-Con Halo Figures

EXCLUSIVE COMIC-CON 'HALO' FIGURES

McFarlane Toys will be offering exclusive Halo figures to the attendees of San Diego’s Comic-Con 2008 (a premier comics and popular arts convention taking place July 24-27). Available only to people who stop by their booth, this $30 two figure set includes an EVA “HellSpartan” and a CQB Active-camouflage Spartan. These promotional items are being limited to only one set per person so if you really want to get your hands on them, you will either need to get your butt to Comic-Con or be prepared to spend a pretty penny, assuming any happen to make their way to eBay. I would recommend actually going to the convention. That way you can see some hot cosplay and get some bad ass toys. That is what I call a win-win situation.

  1. I love how they screwed up, forgot to add color to a batch of figures, and sell them by calling them “CQB Active-camouflage Spartans”

    =D

If I could make it out to San Diego I’d be buying one though, lol.

What man or woman in their right mind WOULDN’T want to see some hot cosplay AND get some bad ass toys? ^_^

looks intensly awesome. I still think they should have the warthog with the brute head on it in the next series.

  5. Oh hell. There’s no way I’m going to be able to make it, and I’d already informally arranged to have someone pick up a set for me.

Looks like I’m screwed unless they can find a way around that. :(

  7. Getting to Con exclusives have always been a headache. It’s even worse getting them home, especially with the airlines pulling baggage stunts these days. I say kudos to McFarlane Toys for helping those of us who fly out to San Diego every year get around the airline silliness!

Of course… these will end up hanging out in the box of White Elites, ODSTs and other Halo odds and ends I’ve picked up at SDCC over the years… but… somehow… I still feel compelled!
