Double EXP Weekend is back and feeling a little more generous than usual. Instead of torturing you with its typical actionsack bullshit, this weekend brings you the opportunity to try to get those last few achievements that can only be unlocked during ranked FFA matches. Legendary Brawl (ranked 12-player FFA) is the playlist of choice and will be available until 2:00 am PDT Monday, June 2nd. By the way, if you still need that elusive Mongoose Mowdown, Halopedia has a few helpful hints that are sure to bring you success. “In the matchmaking lobby, ask someone to help you. Also, try to get a map with a mongoose.” I’m pretty sure whoever wrote that is a fucking genius.

Thankfully I had help in the 1st Living Dead playlist with Mongoose Mowdown and Two for one, now the only achievment continuing to escape my clutches is Overkill >=(
Well I actually did get a triple kill with a sword, I have a video in my fileshare and everything. It was an Oddball game in Lone Wolves on Construct. I got a triple kill with the sword, but no achievement. I have two GT’s and I got the overkill on both purely by accident, infact I didnt even realize that I got them until I checked the post game report.
Mongoose Mowdown was the last achievement I needed and it was a matter of pure circumstance that I got it because someone lagged into existence right in front of me on High Ground, my actions had nothing to do with the Mongoose kill so I can’t really count it as a real “achievement” for myself.
It was quite literally a case of “he came out of nowhere Officer”.
If that “actionsack bullshit” is torture, then I must be into S&M.
I just got Mongoose Mowdown and Maybe Next Time Buddy on Rat’s Nest yesterday. I’ve been waiting to get those two achievements for almost 3 months, so thanks Bungie! I was just cruising around on a ‘goose until I found two guys dueling and crashed the party. Then to make it a little sweeter, a guy spawned in front of me and didn’t bother to get out of the way. MNTB came a few minutes later, too. It’s easy when there are so many players around you can’t get into a straight 1v1 situation.
All I want is Two for One and the Overkill… That’s it. Then I’m done. I don’t want to ask because everyone is like OMGZZZZZ HE WANTS TO BOOST ACHIEVEMENTS.

I really, really want Steppin Razor as well but am so pants with the sword that I might as well commit suicide as soon as I pick it up…..

Some nice guys helped me get it, I so didn’t ask them to, and I so didn’t get them to line up when I had a Sniper Rifle…I also got MNTB the other day, get a mate, go on social and wait till you get Snowbound.
I also, if I hadn’t already got Mongoose Mowdown illigitematley, would of gotten it legitamatley today, since I stormed around the map with a Mongoose to find the helpfull chaps, and accidently on purpouse ran one over…
what are achievements? :P
