I love halo.bungie.org. Yes, apparently I enjoy rocking the cradle but really, can you blame me? That site is an absolute dream for anybody who has more than a passing interest in Halo. Numerous times each and every day I find myself at HBO in an attempt to quench my insatiable thirst for the latest and greatest news about my favorite seven foot tall Spartan.
The always amazing halo.bungie.org turned nine last Thursday so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to say thank you to Louis Wu who continues to dedicate a part of his every day to bring us all the Halo goodness we can handle. He doesn’t get paid for what he does, he doesn’t even have a single advertisement on his website. All he gets is a steady stream of rambling emails to read, a huge forum to diligently moderate, and the satisfaction of knowing he is the most all knowing Halo being to ever exist. If you adore Louis Wu and HBO as much as I do, be sure to congratulate him on his nine year milestone. Then immediately start running because if you think you are going to take my crown for being the biggest HBO fan, you are crazy.
I think I must visit HBO at least three times a day. Actually, to be more accurate, three different time periods during the day.
There’s no better place, apart from this site, to get all my Halo news from. In fact, I’m pretty sure I first heard about Hawty McBloggy (and thus you angel) on HBO a while back.
Long live HBO, long live Louis Wu, and long live halo.bungie.org :D

Whilst at work I am constantly checking my HBO and Hawty RSS feeds…perhaps I have an addiction…then again when I get home….and after I get up in the morning…

Louis Wu rocks.
When I first started at Bungie I was impressed they were giving content to HBO. Then I found out it wasn’t the channel.
I soon realized that it’s better. It’s the best fan-site for any video game out there.
Has it really been that long. HBO was pretty much the first Halo fansite I ever found It feels like it was only yesterday I was first on it devouring the Halo Story page.
