Weekend of the Living Dead

Double EXP Weekend has returned, along with everybody’s favorite Living Dead playlist. Hop onto Halo 3 anytime between now and Monday the 26th at 2am PDT to participate in the all you can eat brain buffet. Bungie made a few small tweaks and also added two completely new gametypes to the mix so if you are someone that either has a thing for brains or just loves ridiculously boring gametypes where you hide in one spot for an ungodly amount of time, grab your shotgun and enjoy the temporary Zombie apocalypse.

I’m afraid that this playlist, and the needless slaughter of my people (the zombies) is grossly offensive.
errr… On my lunch break and saw this while scarfing down my tuna mac…then I read “all you can eat brain buffet”.. *baby barf*
Sounds like fun!
Breaking News!
Zomophobic hate crimes on the increase! Assaults and Homicide rates against the Undead community are at an all time high, we ask the question why, tonight on Fox News!
(In proximity voice) “I see dead people, they are all around us” “Brains” “Brains”
*wispers* Can you hear me bs angel?
:D
HaHa! :D <3! XOXOXOXOXOXOXOOXOXO!
This playlist is a poor representation of the Infection game variant, and even I refuse to play it due to the sheer crapiness of it, it lost my support the moment it came out. Make interesting comunity gametypes double exp playlist perhaps?
Heh. The other day a clan member said, “so guys, what do you think the weekend playlist will be?” I replied, “eh, probably something boring like Zombies.”
Guess I was right. :(
Katie, that is one of my most memorable gaming moments ever. I still remember that crystal clear!
I almost wish they would be a little more inventive with these Double EXP Weekends. I am sure I would still bitch about it though, regardless of what they chose. But something new would be nice.
If only Halo-Ween was possible…
Too scary and gross for me lol.
what’s so horrible about infection?
I hate zombies but I still play. It is horribly unfair against the zombies, almost impossible to kill anyone without active camo.
The problem with playlists like Living Dead is that fact that there are plenty of places on the maps where people can hide and rack up a massive amount of points with their guns because the zombies cannot get within range to hit with their melee weapons. The trees on Isolation being a prime offender of this, along with underneath the stairs on The Pit.
As such, most games revolve around who can get to the hiding place first rather than having a good old shootout, and hide and seek is not my idea of fun.
