Where One Team is Red and One Team is Good

grifball motivational poster

Double EXP weekend is back, and so is everybody’s favorite hammer wielding, no shield wearing, ball carrying, lag loving Spartan sport of explosive craziness. Hop onto Halo 3 anytime until 2am PDT Monday morning and you can enjoy the entertaining antics of Grifball while receiving a significant boost to your experience. The Spring League map variant is being used thus making it more difficult for those jerkfaces who enjoy escaping the map once they gain the lead because they can’t win any other way. In conjunction with the weekend’s festivities is a screenshot contest going on over at Grifball.com so check that out if you feel so inclined. Think you may see me in this temporary ravenous orange killing playlist? Clearly you don’t know me at all.

  1. i still can’t believe you don’t like grifball. you’re missing out. you should give it a second chance

  2. The last time I played Grifball one of the PMS girls kept kicking my ass with that darn Hammer. I can’t say I haven’t had a grudge since then, but a little revenge would be nice. If my team won it wouldn’t be bad, me thinks. See, now I’m talking like that despicable Jar Jar. Phew.

  3. Playing Grifball is like playing Russian Roulette: there’s no skill involved and the outcome is ultimately determined by luck.

  4. Couldn’t disagree more. A good team will beat a bad team anytime.

  5. By “bad” you mean “laggy”, right?

I used to be obsessed with it, I wouldn’t stop playing it, not even to join my best friends games, now it’s just boring as hell, and it’s butchered my once lovley socail stats on Bnet =/

  7. hahaha….I actually love grifball!!

it’s so stupid & funny & get this, I got killionaire!!! Un-flipping believable!!

I was so excited about it & then I checked out my profile & it’s ‘only’ a ’social’ game so doesn’t count as a ‘proper’ medal. But I will alwys remember my first killionaire :)

and you’ve gotta love the team Double Exp games – then at least I have a chance of some extra Exp

I just can’t stand it because it is brings back awful memories of host advantage in Halo 2.

I liked it for a bit since it was different and creative but then after noticing a pattern of how one guy would always win a hammer battle no matter what and obvious KpD spreads at the end of the games I played just ruined it for me.
