A Halo 3 Dualtage

While I absolutely love machinima, montages are simply not my thing. In fact the last Halo-themed montage I saw was The Dead Serious Tage which was back in the glorious days of Halo 2. When I recently watched Phurion and Fluxy: Halo 3 Montage (Dualtage) though, I don’t think my eyes left the screen once. Gameplay is amazing, editing is phenomenal, and it is an all around incredible video. I caught it when it was first put up on YouTube, and I enjoyed it so much that I checked back a few times to watch it again once the high res version was available. Yup, it’s that good. So go watch it. And enjoy.
Looks good. I like some of the editing effects sometimes and then sometimes think they are too flashy. I like to see how the person is actually killed instead of whirlwind of blur and effects. (of course for the most part, it worked for the better and I liked it.)
The thing with the rocket in the beginning where he showed it travel to the person was some really awesome editing though.
I’d also suggest checking out this montage of greatness. No special effects, but some crazy passenger Warthog sitcks and a back to back extermination is in it too.

That Rippon montage you linked was f*ckin dirty. I personally think Halo CE & 2 are both better than 3, but I thought this dualtage was pretty cool too.
One of my favorite H2 montages has got to be one of Walshy’s – can’t remember which one…I’ll find it later if need be.
Anyone into SSBM? (not brawl). Melee combo videos seriously get my heart racing so much, you’d think i was doing the no-pants-dance with Jessica Alba.
