This weekend Bungie is giving us a hefty dose of double experience weekend festivities. You have until Tuesday to squeeze in as much Fiesta goodness as your Halo crazed Spartan can handle. For those of you that are unfamiliar with this gametype, back in Halo 2 it was called “You Spawn with the Plasma Rifle While Everybody Else Gets Rockets”. Of course it has been updated with Halo 3. Now it is “You Spawn with Some Random Shitty Weapon While Everybody Else Gets the Laser”. In case you haven’t guessed, you will not be seeing me there. For those of you that enjoy activities that closely resemble torture, have a great time!
Rather have a random weapon than a laser pointer.
Ah randomness, you amuse me so.
However amusement quickly turns to controller chewing rage after the first dozen or so massacres I suffer in these game types.
Yet I keep going back for more.

I can quit Fiesta now, which is good as Fee wants to use the Wii. Poor thing has been neglected since December.

just kill the unskilled player that spawned with a power weapon and use it against him until he hates fiesta forever and refuses to play anymore with you

True, sometimes I spawn with a Plasma Rifle and nothing else, but those times I spawn with a Rocket Launcher and camp the gold lift make it all worthwhile!
Say El Burritoh do you really LOVE Fiesta? Is there no moment in the day that you don’t think about Fiesta always having those butterflies in your stumache because you long to be together. Then the joy when you are together, even then able to enjoy even just her presence without even interacting. holding it gently in your big musciline arms with a tender touch… I miss Cherry.
I have no idea what having butterflies in one’s stomach feels like, but…

Actually, that is kinda funny…
I rather enjoyed Fiesta. Something different. The whole “Crap, I spawned on the other side of the map from the power weapon” is replaced by “Sweet, I spawned with the Rocket Launcher!” Sure, sometimes you get the plasma pistol (*sigh*) but since you die quickly wielding it, you get to come back with something new.
But then I like a little randomness.
