Did you know I have achievements you can unlock? Oh yes, I just happen to have five. A few of them are rather easy, others are a little more difficult, and the last one is damn near impossible and will only go to that special someone. Could it be you?
Unlock the Achievement, one of the largest video game related Internet-based scavenger hunts EVAR, begins today (Monday, April 21). With almost four dozen of your favorite Xbox 360 related websites participating, you will have almost one full week to unlock the 210 total possible achievements. The top 100 finishers on the leaderboard will win prizes that include Xbox 360 Games, a 120 GB Hard Drive, Microsoft Points, limited edition t-shirts, books… even a Dwayne Wade autographed and framed picture.
So what exactly do you do? Each participating website is hiding five images that look like this. When you see one, simply click on it and it will automatically unlock that particular achievement for you. There will be varying ranges of difficulty from Avatar: The Last Airbender easy to completing Fire and Flames on Expert hard. The only hint I will give you on my achievements is that if you are a regular reader, you already know my more popular articles and should have no problem finding your way there.
This achievement scavenger hunt will be benefiting more than just the top 100 finishers. To celebrate the kick off of this event, “a care package will be arriving in Tennessee to support the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. With the help of Gaming4Others, and the participating sites and sponsors, a donation of 100+ games will be wrapped up and given away to children during a party at the hospital.”

I have found 2! but its annoying trying to get to the certain articles i know to check >:(
Maybe use google to search for them. The search function on my blog is less than optimal at times. :)
I agree it’s soo addictive, I’ve found one but I’ve been wrong bout some of the articles

Some pages are annoying because on a few i am convinced they don’t have them up.. 360voice has put hints but that has only helped me to find one..
If it makes you feel any better, I am hunting also and have only found two on other sites so far.
Putting up hints is a good idea! Maybe I can put up one hint a day for the achievements on this site. That may be fun!

Some websites i honestly get scared and run.. they are too cluttered, hard on the eyes or say hey woot to contest but then don’t even say if they are in old archives, forums, nothing.. your just kinda left lost.. i mean this is fun, but i beg other communities to not make it painful.
I thought scavenger hunts had clues? I’ve bee searching every site and have barely found any. I don’t see any on here either.
I think I have found five now. I made my first one what I thought was super easy, but maybe it’s not. I’ll definitely post one clue a day that should give a really big hint to where mine are located, whether you are familiar with my site and articles or not. :)

I have found only 3 for this site.. one i figured for sure would be in a certain spot for the fourth achievement wasn’t..
I have a total of 35 for all sites combined so far.. but i have to give up on this for now.. its distracting! :P
I consider that success! LOL, … I wanted four of them findable, with the last one being near impossible. :)

Great idea, but I rather have my last Halo 3 achievements unlocked.
I found one so far but the other 4 i’m having a tough time with.
Im with you Assassin, I found one on another site totally by accident, so my total is up to 2!…I fail. lolz
I agree, with clues this could be fun and get some sites more hits, without them its mindless and un-fun, like being at work or something! :)

And Famous12, if it makes you feel any better, my hardest achievement was buried as an image link in that article when the contest started, but I didn’t know there was a code in place that didn’t allow for typed in urls. So it had to be switched. :)

Hmmm, I actually successfully unlocked from there for my 5th on day 1.
Strange. Oh well, gotta see if I can catch Textuality!
Yezzzz 5/5, i actually formed my own way of cheating on two of them, which you can actually use on 4/5 of them. Speaking of…. the last one was very clever(lol). Anyway, I wont let out the secret, thanx for the fun.
I’ve been dropping by your site sparsely when HBO links to it… and now I’m on it hunting feverishly. I’m just barely inside the top 100, and want to keep going. But I’ve only found 1 so far (it was pretty easy one). Clues would help. But hey, at least it’s not as bad as my stats from gamingtruth (i don’t think they have any)
I’ve been meaning to do more clues than the ones already listed in this article. I’ll get that up this afternoon. :)
