Yet Another Way to Propose Video Game Style

Halo fanatics utilize the ever popular Forge mode to permanently snag that special gamer in their life. But what is a dedicated Nintendo fan to do when contemplating how to make their proposal to a significant other memorable? Of course they turn to Mario. Nothing says romance quite like a portly plumber.

super smash brothers proposal

Brian Klima lovingly designed a Super Smash Bros. Brawl stage with the words “Marry me?” spelled out in pixelated fashion. Each block was delicately placed just so then he turned off the tv so when his girlfriend later turned it on, his sweet message would be there right in front of her eyes. Lucky for him she not only noticed the blocky proposal (I probably would have just started playing without even recognizing there was a message within the level) but she also accepted it. To keep up with the Mario theme, she should have told him she would keep his pipes clean for life. I bet he would have loved that.
