Lotta hate for GTA in here. Or hate for the plate. *shrug* I played two minutes of GTA III and have had no interest in the series since. I LOVE the idea of the gameplay mechanic. I’m not not a fan of the context of the mechanic. Stick it in a Star Wars or Mass Effect or Oblivion universe and I’d be all over it. It’s partly the violence, but mostly it’s the spirit. GTA is… mean, I guess, for lack of a better word. There was violence in Crackdown, but there wasn’t a “meanness” to it, if that makes sense. Anyway, all I tried to do with the plate was capture the feeling of all the marketing they’ve done for the game with a simple white, letterman’s jacket-styled “IV” on plain black background. And my mom is crystallizing EVERYTHING these days, lol. Honestly, I have an un-crystaled version sitting right here, and the crystalized version is just simply more interesting.
