    I didn’t get it… I’ll blame the language barrier!

I was going to try this game out, but after this type of crap I choose not to. It is pretty lame of EA. Did they not think there would be a backlash.

^^ ..is that dutch? *shrug* all countries love angel :)

This topic has made me so angry recently I could probably write a friggin term paper on it. For those confused (ashame), EA’s new game Bad Company has certain weapons that can only be used if you BUY THEM from the marketplace. I’d seriously rather make love to a cactus than buy this game. Can you imagine what the gaming world would be like if trash like this continues?? PAYING for things in video games??

What’s next? paying for your bullets in Halo 3 matchmaking? Paying for GAS in Mario Kart? So are we to accept the fact that gamers with low incomes are now officially going to suck if nonsense like this catches on?

Last time i checked, in video games you’re supposed to reward players with SKILLS on a balanced playing field, not some random rich 11 year old kid from suburbia who has no gaming talent but can shell out $200 on Daddy’s credit card to get the scrotum melting gun.

What a sh*tload of f*ck. I hope everyone is as outraged with this as I am.

Soulofaqua’s comments are usually in English. I am guessing he explained what the comic is about to Ashame. If that is the case, that was mighty kind of him. :)

This isn’t the first time someone has put weapons on the Marketplace. Chromehounds had weapons that were available for purchase as well. I’m not sure why that didn’t draw the same attention, maybe because the 360 was still in its newer stages back then. Could be Chromehounds had a humongous selection of weapons anyways so it wasn’t as big of a deal. Microtransactions in general are getting out of hand, and this is a perfect example of that.

    Thanks Soulofaqua

  7. -S- says:

guess you were right angel lol

  8. Soulofaqua says:

You both where right -S- was right about it being dutch and angel was right about me explaining it, but it was thanks to ashame’s link that I knew I could explain it in dutch because of the .nl, if I had not seen that I would have tried it in simple english :)
