Still Alive is Still Free

Holy shit, it’s a song with female vocals for Rock Band. Yes, I know it’s technically sung by a computer but whatever, I’ll take what I can get. In case you missed it, “Still Alive”, the catchy song that plays during Portal’s credits, is the newest downloadable content for (almost) everybody’s favorite music game. At the very low price of zero Microsoft Points (that equals zero dollars for people who don’t know the current conversion rates), you can download it at your convenience as it is not a limited time offer. That’s right, I’ll still get it even though I am currently on vacation. I would have gotten it either way since I packed my hard drive in my suitcase but now I don’t have to worry about it. And yes, I take my hard drive with me when I go out of town. Don’t tell me you don’t do the same.

Actually, a male signs it, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Coulton
Some fancy technological stuff takes care of the rest.
This is a triumph! I’m making a note here: “Huge Success!”
“Holy shit, it’s a song with female vocals for Rock Band.”
Uh… CrushCrushCrush” or “Why Do You Love Me” anyone?
I still agree with you that female vocalists are in a minority, those are the only two that I can pick off of the top of my head that are available in Rock Band DLC.
Erm… CrushCrushCrush can be found below, don’t know why it didn’t translate into HTML :/
I didn’t mean there weren’t any at all bleet tameheart, just that they were still a rarity. You know me, I have to keep beating the dead horse. ;)
Jay, Jonathan didn’t actually sing it for Portal (or for RB): ‘The closing credits song, “Still Alive”, was written by Jonathan Coulton and sung by Ellen McLain as the GLaDOS character’ (I can quote Wikipedia too :))
Also, is this the first time you’ve publically admitted to owning Rock Band, ms angel?
I don’t see anywhere that I admitted to owning Rock Band in this article!
Her Gamercard lies!
LOL.
‘I don’t see anywhere that I admitted to owning Rock Band in this article!’
‘I would have gotten it either way’
I totally buy DLC for games I don’t own ;)
I could, you never know! Maybe I get all the DLC for every single game just in case I decide to purchase it sometime in the future. It’s possible. LOL, …
