Comment of the Week
March 19, 2008 3 Comments
It’s that magical day of the week that brings us everybody’s favorite new feature, the Comment of the Week! How exactly do I know it’s everybody’s favorite new feature? Well, I presented a very scientific poll to a wide variety of participants and this was the most popular answer. Ok fine, I just asked myself but whatever.

As most of you know, Nathaniel’s story (about his Bungie goody bag) has been making its way around the internet the past few weeks. On March 13th it hit the front page of Yahoo.com which brought a wave of new visitors to my site. The happy ending of the story attracted both gamers and nongamers alike. It was one of those Yahoo readers that brings us this delightful little gem :
What is xbox, and Halo anyways, another form of Atari? I mean I’m 42, and I must live in a cave or something, lol. It sounds neat, and sounds like you got a good thing going, lucky you. So this xbox hooks up to the t.v.? And does it have more then one game (besides halo)?? I love playing the games here on yahoo!!
And with that adorably clueless comment, Trisha is this week’s recipient of the Comment of the Week award. I just want to go over to her house, bring her an Xbox 360, and introduce her to the world of the Xbox Live Arcade. Can you even imagine how much fun she would have with all of the retro game offerings right now? I think if she ever discovered PAC-MAN Championship Edition, nobody would ever hear from her again.
Now go make some good comments for next week’s award. kthxbai.

I about fell out of my chair with an uncontrollable fit of the giggles when I first read that comment a few days ago. Thanks for that Trisha… it really lightened up my day. :)
Poor girl. *smile* Living in a cave … hmmm … more like a unique reality all your own. A very … SPECIAL reality for SPECIAL people. Yes Trisha, you’re special. A special girl with a special problem. We’ll bake you a birthday cake in the shape of an Xbox and put a special little candle on it just for you. Then we’ll hook the cake up to your TV so you can play birthday games. Yes, that’s right. A cake.
And then …
That’s comment is classic. I’ll never look at Yahoo games the same again.
