The best part about this retro alarm clock is not the novelty of having it housed within an NES case but instead the buttons that control the various functions. Have a habit of hitting snooze to catch a few extra moments of precious shut eye each morning? Get to know the reset button which will undoubtedly serve you well in that regard. Need to set the alarm or adjust the time for daylight savings? Grab the included controller (which conveniently attaches to the console magnetically when not being used) and have at it. Don’t need to get up early the next morning? Simply turn off the alarm via the power button, close the lid to conceal the LED numbers, and peacefully snooze the night away. I wonder if it would do anything fancy if you entered a cheat code. I guess there’s only one way to find out.

That’s one of the coolest things I have ever seen. If a reader gets it, I think they should try the Konami Code just for kicks.
I hate alarm clocks, so I’d rather not have a Ninty one.
That is a sexy piece of work right there.
If I didn’t already have a good alarm clock, I’d be tempted.
Wouldn’t it be awesome if you could enter a game specific cheat code and then it would play that game’s theme song as the alarm?
Wow, that was a really big geek moment. Even for me. LOL …
That’s pretty sweet but it would be too big to fit on my shelf above my bed.
I like the different colored numbers ^_^
