There is nothing I enjoy more than a scalding hot, relaxing bubble bath. Give me a gaming magazine so I can get caught up on the latest news and I can easily waste away the afternoon morphing into a prune. With ThinkGeek’s latest product though, I don’t even need a magazine to keep me entertained. I just need one of these awesome bath bombs.

Purchase here : ThinkGeek
Price : $5.99 for one
Specifics : Each bomb is 1.8″ in diameter. Figures stand about 0.8″ high
If you are unfamiliar with bath bombs, they are a type of spherical bath product that fizzes, foams, and dissolves when placed in water. These Super Mario Bros. bath bombs release a fragrant scent along with creating yellow foam for your bathing pleasure. The best part happens when it is fully dissolved though because hidden in the middle of these bath bombs are tiny Mario-themed figures. Not only will you have a wonderfully indulgent bath to enjoy, but you will also have a new toy to keep you entertained. Bath bomb figures include Mario, Luigi, Fire Mario, Bowzer, Goomba, and a Power Mushroom. The more in the tub the merrier, right? I’ll take all six please.

So the question is, when should we expect these in the mail?

So now Mario can entertain us in other (perhaps disturbing) ways. :)

Hah! I went to the page, and it didn’t give the suggested age-range for these. My wife and I are parents of a 21 month old, and another one is on the way for next month. I might buy some for our big boy, and stock up for the new one. And, who knows, I might get away with using some myself.
My wife would understand. I usually sing the Mario theme song in the bath anyways.

The figures look pretty little for a toddler. I would imagine size wise it presents a choking hazard. Maybe buy them and throw them in the closet for when they are a bit older! :)

Hah! Good point.
My wife vetoed the purchase anyways, because, according to her, my son and me don’t need anything special in our bath water to make it bubble.
Sigh!

LOL … But that just means you do need something that smells good. ;)
