Get Back in the Kitchen

A comic by first glance, … but something much deeper on a different level. I hesitate offering too much commentary as I don’t believe everything needs to be over analyzed. So that is all.

humble suggestion comic

As always, feel free to discuss in the comments.

Imagine the game was called ‘plumber dad’ and then it was still funneh ^^

    Hope that makes sense :S

  4. Yeah, as a game designer, that’s (unfortunately) the attitude I’ve run into all too often in this industry. Girl games have to be based on the stereotypes of what guys have about girls, not what girls themselves actually want.

  5. (gee that comic looks familiar… tee hee)

I took it very lightheartedly the first time I read it and did notice that one could read a lot further into it but then it’d just ruin the humor behind it… that and the creator of VG Cats has a pretty cruel sense of humor (which I kinda enjoy…. does that make me bad? lol)

    Hehe!

Funny, since my wife loves this game, and the more she plays it, the less pies she makes! Can I call this situation ironic?

  8. lol i don’t think nintendo is sexist for their creation of ‘cooking mama’…otherwise kick ass characters like Samus and Princess Zelda wouldn’t exist. I Love VG Cats

  12. I have a male friend who is a student of the culinary arts and has that game. On Monday I had some co-workers over to my house to play Halo 3 (we had President’s day off), and he cooked for us.
