Portal: A Day in the Life of a Turret

This Portal based machinima which follows the typical day of two turrets at the Aperture Science Enrichment Center is not new but perhaps you missed it the first time around. I think it’s pretty funny and I didn’t even play the game. The video is only four minutes long so watch the whole thing and have a few laughs. Enjoy!

LOL … How odd! Good timing.

I like watching this one as well and figured I might as well post it, for my own convenience if nothing else. :)

You haven’t played Portal?! I am shocked and appalled. You need to get to work on that, young lady. I prescribe one Orange Box for you.

While Half-Life is entirely up my alley, my brain doesn’t work the way Portal requires it to. I struggled a lot with Prey in regards to that sort of gameplay. I love watching the videos about it though, the humor in that game seems phenomenal.

Give portal a try, it isn’t as tough as you think. You won’t be disappointed and your companion cube will thank you for it. ;-)

Portal has one of the best/hilarious game endings ever. Valve FTW!

This reminds me of my office, though instead of shooting test subjects we rubberstamp their paperwork.
However the bitching is unchanged, companion cube’s counterpart sits just the other side of the office from me, and is generally disliked by all.

And we do have cake :D

    CAKE.

Oh wow, this was perfect. It’s going to be added to my “I feel like shit and I need something to make me happy” bookmark folder.

I think I laughed at the dumbest part: “Fuck my turkey is dry.”

“The cake is a lie.” :-)

I love all this fan made Portal stuff. I’ve seen a bunch of videos, variations on the end song, and a lot of other stuff today. It’s great seeing a game create such devotion and inspiration. Can’t wait for more.
