Nope. All of the screenshots on my other site are not shopped or altered in any way. That is part of the reason why they are so spectacular. :)
wow these are beautiful, i am usually a stalwart of the graphics<gameplay camp, but i am really impressed by the art here. are they normal in-game screens or set-up/special camera mode type things? (forgive my halo ignorance :s)
i especially like how the one 4th from the top looks like he’s about to do a forward roll though, proper little kid in gym style :)
Divine Father’s Karate Kid shot is awesome.
Does your no shopped or altered policy mean we won’t be seeing panoramic screenshots like those by El Burritoh on your other site?
Spugmeistress, they are taken in a special mode called “theatre” where you can watch games you have played. It has the ability to let you fast forward, rewind, pause, move the cameras, etc and then you can take a screenshot or record a game clip. It’s really fun!
Jim, I’m debating that right now but leaning towards no. My emphasis is on unaltered shots. Burritoh’s (and others) panoramas are absolutely amazing though and I love looking at them. I may add a static page up top to include things like that but like I said, I haven’t decided yet.
Actually tell me this Jim (and anybody else who wants to give me feedback). Would you like to see panoramas over there?
I really like panorama screenshots, they have a real epic feel to them that you cannot get just by taking a single screenshot.
The second panorama screenshot from the TTL Humpday Challenge blog entry, the one with the Warthog on Valhalla, looked so good I ended up using it as my MacBook’s wallpaper. I think that these panoramas and others like them would be a great addition to your site.
I like Divine Father’s pic because it reminds me more of the Matrix than of Karate Kid.
xAnnihilator69x’s screenshot is absolutely amazing, incredible use of lighting, color and composition. And Divine Father’s reminds me of the Matrix aswell.
Evil Resident’s pic(the last one) has SO BEEN DONE. It’s been done since before the 25th. Throw a frag grenade, or use a hammer and bada bing, bada boom.
those are freakin sweet. I can’t believed that none of them are edited in any way. Nice.
Xor1an’s is my fave.
Incredible how artistic a lot of these (and others from I <3…) are. And people say gamers are lazy…I can’t stand to do stuff like this because of how much TIME it takes to get just that perfect shot…
