Ever wonder how gaming blogs like Kotaku, Joystiq, and Destructoid choose which stories to run? How do they come up with their ideas? Well, Epileptic Gaming was given exclusive access into the office of one such popular gaming blog.
This video is absolutely hilarious and only two and a half minutes long so watch the whole thing. You will win my undying love if you pick up on a specific reference. No clues, but if you regularly read my blog you will immediately know it.

The one comment on the video of girls baking cakes, it just made me think of the joke of people yelling at female players, telling them to make them a sandwich. =\

And for the record, I love seeing all the gaming cakes (and cupcakes!). I enjoy the culture aspect of things immensely. I’m someone that skips the more newsy pieces and goes straight for the fun stuff. To each their own. :)

i totally hadnt picked up on the portal thing, but i do wonder if there has been a direct correlation with the rise of videogame cakes since it came out. someone needs to do research!
