As of this morning Valentine’s Day is officially ten days away. Hopefully you are not a procrastinator like I am but if you are, there is still time to scrounge something up that will make your significant other’s heart skip a beat. I have found ten romantic gifts that almost any gamer would love to receive on this horrible commercial holiday that closely resembles torture. I meant that in the nicest way possible.
Chocolate Mii Avatars

Purchase here : Paul Pape Designs
Price : $14.95
Note : Available in milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or white chocolate, each figure is about the size of a king-size candy bar. The box holds two chocolate avatars and has the message “We belong together, you and me” on the top. I’m a little confused why it doesn’t say “Wii belong together, you and Mii” but whatever.
I Love You USB LED Light

Purchase here : USB.BRANDO.COM.HK
Price : $9
Note : This light, which has the sweet message of “I love you” written on the red heart, is USB powered so it is compatible with an Xbox 360 (and of course with a PC as well). This is for the person that lights up your life. See what I did there? An LED light? Light up your life? Yeah, I’m good.
Reversible Necklace, My Geeky Valentine

Purchase here : SarahLynneDesign’s Etsy Shop
Price : $45
Note : This adorable handmade necklace has the perfect Valentine colors on one side and a Nintendo controller on the other. It comes in a box so tie a pretty bow on it and you are ready to make your favorite gamer girl happy. And yes, I am currently accepting gifts. kthxbai.
Geek Love Poem Babydoll

Purchase here : Ladies: Think Geek, Mens: Think Geek
Price : $17.99
Note : Roses are #FF0000, violets are #0000FF, all my base are belong to you. And everything else too biatch.
Xbox 360 Rechargeable Battery Pack

Purchase here : Xbox.com
Price : $11.99
Note : I don’t recommend buying a female a pink controller unless you know for sure she is a fan of the color because believe it or not, not every girl likes pink. Blasphemy, I know. But if your favorite female gamer happens to already own a pink controller, this accessory is the perfect gift for her. She is no doubt completely irked that she can’t use her white rechargeable battery pack with it (not matching accessories ftl) and will be grateful for the color coordination. Believe me, I speak from experience.
high score – custom video game id bracelet

Purchase here : Pixelparty’s Etsy Shop
Price : $18.00
Note : Any gamer that appreciates the retro era will love this id bracelet where you can choose the initials and also your favorite character to personalize it. Just don’t go with “AAA”. That’s already taken.
Nintendo Controller Universal Remote

Purchase here : Think Geek
Price : On sale for $12.99
Note : This Universal TV Remote is the size of an actual Nintendo controller and is an officially licensed Nintendo product. The kicker though? It comes with free Mario stickers. I shit you not.
WoWentine Teddy Bear

Purchase here : CafePress.com
Price : $20.99
Note : This 11 inch bear says “Be My Wowentine” on its little shirt. How disgustingly gamer cute in a horribly addictive game sort of way is that? Yeah, that’s what I thought too.
Xbox LIVE Vision

Purchase here : Xbox.com
Price : $39.99
Note : Great for those evenings you want to be together with your gamer significant other but just can’t for whatever reason. It’s a wonderful tool for video chatting and … that’s all. Just video chatting.
Despair, Inc. Bittersweets

Purchase here : Think Geek
Price : $9.99
Note : This is a fantastic option for anyone who is feeling jaded this Valentine season. Which may or may not be me. There are three different sets available, the choices being Dejected, Dysfunctional, and Dumped with each collection featuring up to 37 unique sayings. Delicious heartache indeed.
