Well, I can understand where most people are going with this. I am not an advanced gamer, let alone a sports gamer. Please consider this as a comment from a person of the outside looking in!
The most common recurring complaint I hear about video games are the ones about the stagnant Madden releases every year.
However, the complaints with the most vitriol are the ones saying that developers for game X should not have messed with game Xs formula.
My take on this is that either way, some people will be happy, and others, not so much. The trick is to keep the biggest slice of your demographic happy.

Funny cause it’s true.
I like EA though. I’ve done some work with them down here and they give me free video games for compensation.

This too true. My game partner and I met you in muti-team it was great. We would love to do it again.

So funny because it’s so true. It’s sad that lack of innovation gets rewarded with big sales, but the true new experiences get left behind. Ah, well.
