Preparing for the Flood

I love Beautiful Katamari. I may be pathetically bad at it (much like I am at absolutely any game I play) but I still find it incredibly fun. I have a particular fondness for weird off the wall games and Beautiful Katamari fits that bill perfectly. I guess you could say that’s just how I roll.

When I spied this Beautiful Katamari PSP bag over at Gamertag Radio, I instantly fell in love (which I made known in the comments). Not long after that I received an email from a friend who happened to have a few of them just lounging around his house. Apparently they were given out with the PSP release of the game. Being the super kind person that this gentleman is, he happily shipped one off to me. While I can find several uses for these magnificent bags, I guess this guy couldn’t. Yay for me!

It was a glorious day when the bag arrived in my mailbox. I ripped the package open, ran upstairs to get my PSP, and ogled the glory that was my new Beautiful Katamari PSP case. Doesn’t the bag just reek of awesomeness? Let me answer that question for you, yes it does. It’s so high on the totally amazing charts that it doesn’t even register. Because it’s so high. Really, really high.

After lovingly gazing at my PSP in my new adorable bag, I realized that perhaps that bag wasn’t the best case to house my handheld. My other case holds a few games and has a hard outer shell to protect it along with a clear screen protector. After tucking my PSP safely away in its original case, I then decided to find a new use for my Beautiful Katamari bag. And a new use I found.

This bag is the perfect size and shape to hold tampons. How exciting, right? When carting around your feminine products, it’s all about subtlety. Who is going to guess that my Beautiful Katamari bag is actually holding flood items instead of a PSP? Nobody, that’s who! Well, except for the people reading this.

But do you know what the best thing is about my Beautiful Katamari PSP case that holds my tampons? It color coordinates perfectly. My favorite brand of tampons have yellow and green wrappers, and yellow and green are the primary colors on the bag. Could it be more perfect?

*A special thank you to the person who sent me this bag. I won’t list your name as I don’t want people to hound you for neat goodies. But I appreciate your generosity and kindness.

    “what are tampons?”

Think, sponges, that can soak up a whole lot of anything liquid.

Czar, does TMI stand for “Thanks, more information!”? If so, I can happily divulge more. :)

Came for the halo reference, stayed because I was so busy trying to get the mental image out of my head I walked into a doorframe :S

I think I’m going to have nightmares about that level now. T_T

Isn’t it horrible? This article is not Halo related in the least bit but I still use those references. Yeah, I have issues. :)

Actually, that would be another excellent use for a handheld case, a snack holder. Just perfect. :)
