The recent changing of my gamerpic did not go unnoticed. I have had a pretty blue flower for months now and nobody said a damn thing, but once I get a catchy slogan everybody is all over it. Jerks. As much as I would like to be unique in sporting it, I have decided to be unselfish and share the information with all of you. This generosity probably won’t happen again so enjoy it while you can.

The “MUTE IT BEFORE YOU CHEW IT” is the first premium content from an independent community website on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The content comes from Unscripted 360 (which deservedly won Blog of the Year in the recent GTR’s Community Awards) and is based on their clever Xbox 360 Laws. My favorite Xbox 360 Law, 360 Law #14: The Vision Camera is not a dating tool, was not one of the options so I instead went with the mute one. This picture pack includes five gamerpics and costs a mere 50 Microsoft Points. That comes out to roughly (does math quickly in her head) not very much at all. Quite a deal! Gamertag Radio tells us “the content is located in the Themes and Gamer Pictures section of the Xbox Live Marketplace under ‘disruptivepublishers.com’.”

Speaking of Gamertag Radio, they are supporting Walk Now for Autism to help make a difference in the fight against autism. “Autism is the second most common developmental disorder in the United States affecting one in every 150 children born today. Despite some promising discoveries, the cause of autism is unknown and a cure does not exist.” I know people personally touched by this disorder and you probably do too. Help support a worthy cause by donating, whether it is your money or your time by helping spread the word. Gamers can and do make a difference.

Gamers who have recently made a difference include 8 Bit Brigade, a gaming community focused on having fun while maintaining a high level of sportsmanship. They raised $485 for Child’s Play with their annual holiday fundraiser. I was excited to be able to donate a pack of my video game cards and hopefully the person that won them will be excited to receive them as well. Great job 8 Bit Brigade, and if you happen to be looking for a mature gaming community to join I highly recommend them. You can accidentally betray them day in and day out and they will still happily play with you. You can even betray the same person twice within 12 seconds and then put it in your file share for all to see (download Slot #4) and they won’t take you off their friends list. Amazing people I tell you.
This public service announcement full of awesome news and even better segues has been brought to you by bs angel. And remember, MUTE IT BEFORE YOU CHEW IT. I’m out. Until tomorrow. Then I’ll be back in.

Hmm an actual good gamerpic pack. Most to me are generally just boring or you have to know the background of it to understand it.

I always thought a gamerpic that said:
“Your Mom” best suited you :P
Good night, angel.

Wish they had the one that said “wipe ‘em before you snipe ‘em”.
