Setting the Mood Music, Halo Style

I am in a lovey dovey mood after writing my Top 10 Romantic Halo 3 Lines Useful for Forge Proposals. I now offer you some romantic Halo-themed music, piano and strings style.

He offers a tutorial as well if you want to learn how to play it on your piano without the sheet music.

  1. The beginning was pretty on key there; Though towards the middle and end the tone was a bit off, but still awesome nonetheless.

Still doesn’t surpass the band that does the Halo song though.

It would of been a bit better without the little pauses, but it dosn’t matter too much, it makes up for it by being pretty damn good.

The pauses are in the game. Throw it in. You’ll see.

Anyway, I’d like to see this done with a tenor sax. You know what, I’d like to see everything done with a tenor sax. It’s only the best instrument ever! My bias has nothing to do with the fact I happen to play it. Boy am I off topic. Oh well.

  8. This is indeed a beautiful song….yet it makes me very sad. A couple days ago my boss died of Cancer and we have all been very sad. Today was the funeral and I could not attend but this music makes me think of him He was strict but a great guy..

    Rest in Peace Dale McDonald.

nice job… i can play this song exactly…but when the piano solo starts and your playing those notes with the left hand… it goes F C Ab C# Ab and F, i think your playing a B or a C# instead of that second F…

the right hand after the left hand solo sounds a bit off… but you play it really good after when you go up a few octaves.. nice job though!!!

The start of the piano solo had mistakes, right and left hand. I remember transcribing that part of the solo on the piano. It’s really lovely. I haven’t gotten to the one octave up parts. Those sound really good.

There were mistakes, but generally not bad. I also prefer sheet music to video tutorials.

I’m ordering the H3 OST; does anyone know the title of this song?

@Crazyeye0: The pauses are in the game. If you were to remove them it would throw the beat of the whole song off, so no, it wouldn’t sound better.

I believe Rampancy.net has sheet music, although I’m not exactly sure what they offer. :)
