My 12 year old loves playing GH and we saw this one the other day. It was one of those perfect parent moments…
Him: “wow, just wow”
Me: “Yeah, this means you suck ya know.”
Him: “I’m still better than you.”
That’s crazy! I agree with Silvercube…kids do have the craziest hand eye coordination. I was watching this one kid in Best Buy a couple weeks ago playing GH3 demo and he’s doing it on expert! I asked him how old he was and he said he’s 10. Crazy kids on candy high.
That kid has been famous among GH fans for at least a year, his dad has a stack of videos on youtube. He started playing at 8 with GH2 on PS2, and then moved to the 360 version (I seem to remember hearing MS sent him the 360):
LOL … I thought the same thing when watching that. I still know there is no way I could nail that first section though and the second you miss a note, you have to restrum so that technique wouldn’t work for me. Poo.

Wow — I’ve never actually seen anyone playing Guitar Hero before, and I’ve got to say (as a guitar player), it’s just weird looking… :P
But, they — anything to get kids interesting in playing guitar.

So that’s how the song goes? Every time I try I fail horribly.
Someone needs to buy that kid a real guitar. That kid could be the next big thing.

His most famous (and still one of his best) is “dead” from GH2:

but he also nails crazy stuff like jordan and psychobilly freakout.
Oh and betty, I’m pretty sure he does play a real guitar. In a few of the videos you can see one at the side of the lounge room :)

This child needs to come over and beat One on hard for Clobby and me.

No shit. I’ll take him to pass Raining Blood on hard please.
Now that you mention it Spyder, I do believe I have seen his Pyschobilly Freakout videos as well.

That was incredible. I never thought of using my other hand for hammerons and pull offs. I feel dumb and slow now.
