Halo 3 and Developmental Psychology as a School Project

21 11 2007

About this video, from DarkZero375 :

In my psychology class, the teacher told us to make a presentation that’s both interesting yet fun. So my group, the Flying Squirrels, decided on “how to keep a fine-tuned mind”, and I made the video by using Halo 3.

It doesn’t really get started until about a minute and a half in. I really like the creativity behind using a video game to make an educational point. The video held my attention for the entire duration of it so they definitely succeeded in making it interesting and fun to watch. Here’s to hoping these students got an A! And who says video games can’t teach you anything? …

Nice find and I think it’s definitely well done.

Shame about their monotone voices though..

Very nicely done! And I agree with Cat, they should have used their own voices rather than that Microsoft Sam voice. Otherwise, awesome!

Was this a high school or college project?

I have no idea what it was trying to teach.

3 things on having a good mind? huh?

On 1:10 remaining , I had a dejavu with that green roof on that building- it looks like the same exact school that I used to go to just to use as a park on saturdays. Creepy.

Umm I walk away from this video very confused. That is all.
