I was out of town for the long holiday weekend and had the pleasure of attending the most recent Monday Night Football game. Apparently someone thought the Madden Football game was so good that they made a real life game out of it as well!

We were in a suite owned by a liquor company so beer along with margaritas and various hard liquors were flowing freely from the taps. Despite Jack Daniels being the nearest handle, my poison of choice for the evening was vodka and cran. I wasn’t up for a picture, but my beverage was.

Unfortunately there was not a single console in the whole suite. Nintendo was a few doors down from us though. It took me everything to not barge in and see if they had a playable Wii. Xbox 360 ads caught my eye as they ran across all the signs on a regular basis. The Seahawks cheerleaders’ opening number was choreographed to Welcome to the Jungle. I kept on looking around for Guitar Hero but couldn’t find it. Whoever played it did a bang up job though because I didn’t hear a single bad note.

I was talking with a gentleman sitting in front of me and I found out his girlfriend had a hand in designing and making the headset and also the remote that came with the initial 360 bundle. Yes, I talk about gaming everywhere I go. I consider it a very special talent of mine.

I couldn’t control the players but whoever did coordinate their plays did an amazing job. Took them straight to a shutout. I am sure they unlocked some sort of achievement for that. For an activity that I didn’t have a wireless controller in my hands, it sure was a good time!

They try, but no one can dunk it like I could.
