I am known for my tendency of betraying my teammates. I unfortunately have a habit of sticking glowing blue orbs right onto their backs. Just the other day I was protecting our flag carrier with the sniper and I managed to snipe him square in his chest instead of nailing the guy who was in close pursuit. (Sorry Tornado!) Thankfully I was in the beta program for Halo3.Junk.ws and finally have stats to prove that I don’t betray my teammates nearly as often as everybody seems to think. I only average .06 betrayals per game. If your Halo 3 stat site doesn’t tell you how many betrayals you average per game, you are in luck because Halo3.Junk.ws is now open to the general fragging public.

If you aren’t familiar with the previous version of this site, Halo2.Junk.ws was “the largest aggregator of Halo 2 statistics. Over the course of the almost three years it was open, over 30 million games were collected for over 65,000 registered members.” I used that site regularly over the course of my Halo 2 career and simply loved pouring over my in depth stats. Halo3.Junk.ws began development in late 2006 and has many of the features you have grown to love from Halo2.Junk.ws plus the addition of significant new features and performance upgrades.
A launch message from their site :
We’ve spent some five weeks working through a highly-successful invite-only beta, and we are very pleased with the response from that beta. Hundreds of bugs were patched, and thousands of lines of new code was written to support new features that were requested. While there are a handful of outstanding bugs, they are all trivial and will be fixed over time.

- My Player Statistics, to check your statistics.
- My Account (at the top of the page), to update your profile and add extra gamertags.
- Multiplayer Leaderboards, to see how you compare to other members of the site, and

Please note that it can take a short while (up to 24 hours) for your statistics to first show up. At this time, we are collecting all of your games back to the date that you started playing Halo 3. We will continue to do this until Bungie begins purging data.
We hope that you find our services to your liking. Feel free to leave us a note in the Technical Support forum if you need assistance.
Go register and check out your stats. Hopefully your betrayal statistics will be more impressive than mine.

I really love to throw grenades, if you were to talk with my friends you would know soon enough I too am known for my betrayals. Not to mention all the times my teammate who is in a battle, wins the battle and then my grenade (I get too excited and start throwing) blows him up giving the other team the kill.

Honestly, theres nothing better than a really, really funny betrayal – they make better videos than montages of people pulling out really amazing kills and plays for the most part.
…
We need a betrayal montage. Now.

No mention of the protection list? I find this article highly suspect. ;)

So how much did you pay them to nerf that betrayal total?
Posted by Stuicide on November 12, 2007 at 7:25 pm
Excardon said that not all of the games have been tracked. Don’t worry, they’re adding up the totals now.
And it’s not the number of betrayals that you have, it’s the perfect timing to do it at the most opportune moments.

Look at all the funny people here! My protection list just got longer.

I’m glad you all like the site. :)
Thanks for posting this Angel!

Guys, we all know angel’s in stiff competition with Homi to lead the betrayals stats. That gives me an idea for a new blog article for angel – if there were a betrayal medal, what would/should it look like?
(you can thank me later angel by not putting my name on your list)

I’m betting they don’t include the kills you get on your team after they’ve been injured by the other team. Or the kills you cause by sending people into combat injured. Hell, I do that to my team on purpose now, because it’s funny.
